Dr. Douangphila received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Wichita State University, located in Wichita, Kansas and her Doctorate in Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Douangphila pursued her interest in optometry at a young age; she was employed as an optometric technician and apprentice optician in both private and commercial practice settings before attending graduate school.
OptimEyes Optometry is dedicated to the eye care services of our patients with the diagnosis, treatment and management of refractive conditions, oculomotor problems, health disorders, and pediatric care. We fulfill our patients' needs with glasses, contact lenses, LASIK co-management, cataract co-management, or sunglasses.

I would agree service is very poor here. They respect health guideline ms but doctor is in a rush to get in and out. Plus got my prescription and had questions on it. The person that answered the phone was very impatient and appeared I was bothering her. First abs last time to go here abs would highly recommend going somewhere else.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience. In May of 2020, I visited this location, as I was looking for a new optometrist. My appointment was at 12:00 noon and the Dr. did not come into the room until 12:45. If this was a normal full day, I would have understood, but seeing as I was the only customer, I thought they forgot I was in the building. When the Dr. arrived, she spent all of 5-8 min tops regarding the examination. Everything was fine until the appointment was close to being done. I asked for my prescription and pupillary distance in order to get an additional pair of glasses online. The "sales lady" tells me the pupillary distance is stored in a machine and I'll have to measure it myself. BS I think, but whatever.
She then shows me the "insurance friendly" glasses and after measuring my pupillary distance in front of me?! presents me with a $215 bill. I left with only my prescription.
These people are liars and thieves. Not worth your time or money.

I remember the 1st time I got contacts to play football. It took 2hrs and left with a swollen eye but i left with them contacts. Now things are different, walked in with appointment and left before I knew it started. Great experience if you need contacts or glasses with a personal touch. This is the place for you!

OptimEyes is such a great place! I called to inquire about my concerns and an employee named Jessica kindly answered all of my questions. Whenever I walked into the office, Jessica was so sweet and made me feel at home. Dr. D also answered all of my questions about their procedures and prices. Dr. D was amazing and I felt very comfortable. I definitely trust this place and would recommend my family and friends to come here for any work they need. I love Dr.D. She's very friendly and personable. However, I cannot say the same thing about her staff. When I call the office, no one ever answers. When I do politely address issues, they speak back with a negative tone and cannot handle constructive criticism. Aside from all that, what made me disappointed is when I picked up my trial contact lenses. I do not have multiple contact cases for the trial ones, so I asked for a plastic contact case, which they have several stocked in the back. They refused because it was against policy. Dr. D is amazing! She’s friendly, efficient, and very professional. I was a walk-in at the office and she saw me immediately. In December of 2014 I went to Dr. Douangphila for an exam. She was able to get me an appointment quickly and during the exam she was very friendly. However, following my exam I asked for my pupilary distance, which I needed in order to fill my eyeglass prescription online through a cheaper online retailer. Dr. D refused to give me the PD measurement stating that she cannot guarantee that the online sellers will get the prescription correct and went on to inform me that the online sellers use inferior frames and lenses. We recently went in for an exam for myself and my husband. We had to be seen immediately and the office was very accommodating. My husband got a new pair of glasses and safety glasses for work. Where do I begin.... My husband, son and I all have been patients here. Year one, we all had our eyes examined but left after the exam to purchase our glasses elsewhere. THE SAME DAY, we went to another place of business to purchase our glasses only to find out that Dr. Douangphila had already filed with our insurance that we had used our glasses prescription allowance. We had to have them contact our insurance company and tell them that we had not used our prescription allowance there, only the exam allowance. Very fishy. Called in and made an appointment. Everything went on schedule. Dr. D is super cool. The overall exam was painless and she explained everything from beginning to end. I love Dr. Douangphila. Great experience - I got my exam there last year and walked away with a prescription in hand and sent it right into Warby Parker. When I told her I was going to send it into Warby Parker to buy glasses she did indeed scowl me a little but it was in a very sister-like way. I thought it was hilarious and went on to tell her it was cheaper and that I was sorry. LOL. Great optometrist, cute office, and next year, I'll support her small office by purchasing a pair of glasses in-house even if it is a little more. #supportsmallbusinesses

Great eye clinic! I am new to the area and once I called, Dr. D got me in right away! She made my visit very affordable and easy! They offered a reasonable deal to purchase eye glasses (along with the Contact Lens Exam..) My glasses were ready for pickup in less than a week and the office help that was there was extremely welcoming.
I would highly recommend this business for anyone in need of a reasonably priced and quality eye exam!

I had been noticing a slight change in vision, so I called OptimEyes to schedule an eye exam. I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, they exceeded my expectations. Dr.Douangphila was great. She examined me and diagnosed what I was experiencing, sun damage. We were find the right lense and coatings for my glasses. Dr. D also gave me other recommendations to help my condition. Best of all, Dr. D did not try to sell me on things that I did not need.
In addition to Dr D, her staff was very knowledgeable and professional. I am extremely happy that I went to OptimEyes instead of one of the big chains

Excellent clinic! We happened to pick this dr from a list on insurance website and glad we did. We called for an appt and got in 2 hours later, it was great! Both she and the receptionist are really nice. We had questions about the forms and the recep't. was very patient. After my husband's exam, we were looking at different glasses. He must have tried on about 10 pairs. The recep't. was so nice and she also gave opinions of how she thought each pair looked on him. I went in for an eye exam because I needed a stronger prescription for my contact lenses; Dr. D was extremely sweet and patient throughout the procedure. I ended up getting a better brand of contacts at an affordable price and it has made such a huge difference!

I had to get glasses and contact lenses for the first time in my life and was very nervous about the whole experience. Dr. D at OptimEyes made me feel much better about everything. She was very friendly and professional and got everything handled for me in just one quick visit. She even showed me how to put my new contacts in without poking out my eyes! My father and I went in for an eye exam and we had a pretty good experience with Dr. Douangphila. My father had eyeglasses, the frame selection was pretty good and the price was pretty fair. The exam was very thorough and we felt very comfortable there.
I had contact lens exam and very happy with the lens I have now.
We will bring the rest of our family back here. We did not feel rush with the exam or selection of eyeglasses and the prescription works great.
