These magnificant cattle can be seen grazing on the hilside behind the The Old Schoolhouse, across the road from the Downsville School and the Downsville Firemen's Field.

The service was bad at first. Wait staff was super dismissive at first, but towards the end, they started to warm up to us, but not without a good amount of diplomacy on our part to break the awkwardness.
Food was sub-par. Seafood medley was expensive but it was overcooked shellfish over sad, unseasoned spaghetti. The appetizers were modestly portioned with a price that should have begged for gratuity. The burgers were pretty good, credit where credit is due, but not good enough to warrant a return or a recommendation.

Interesting building and decorations. Service was good, but no masks. Food was ok in general. I had the Prime rib and cut, it was way too dry. Others had the prime rib and it was good. Eggplant parmesan was good, pasta primavera was good but could have used more sauce. Salad bar was fair, but surprised to see it. We hand nachos
appitizer and was good for the four of us.

We went here two times while in town. On both occasions, it was great. Our first waitress, Shannon, was particularly fantastic: she had an awesome, cheerful energy about her.
Our favorites were:
The boule bread appetizer. All around fantastic, from the mozzarella melted on top to the pesto and marinara dipping sauces.
Their pastas. Particularly the shrimp and scallop pasta entree.
Beer selection was also great, including numerous varieties of Ommegang brews.
