What started out to be a simple Birthday Dinner ended up being an elegant Extravagant Gala type Party! Chef John and his staff treated my guests like celebrities! The dining room was transformed into tables with beautiful place settings, candelabras and gorgeous bouquets of roses depicting the The Ivy in LA as I requested. Chef John was everything he said he was going to be! He told us right off he wasn’t “Cheap” but he gave us everything he promised! My guests raved about the food, attention and atmosphere . A memorial evening!

I was so pleased with the team at Mezzaluna Fine Catering. As a professional event planner for nonprofits, I was appreciative of their consideration of my budget constraints and expectations. Each meeting was a pleasure and they were so lovely to work with through the process. The food was tailored to our event, original, scrumptious and instagram-worthy. Our guests were wowed and so were we. I highly recommend Mezzaluna!

Elaine and I can’t thank you enough for everything you did to create such a lovely and delicious wedding for us at Portland's White House on August 1. Every detail was impeccably thought through. Your servers were friendly and professional and all so cute. The appetizers were lovely, especially the vegan lettuce wraps! So good! And dinner, what can I say. The salad was light and refreshing with a perfect vinegrette and the entrees were so flavorful and presented beautifully. Dessert was over the top! Perfection. And, thank you for taking such good care of our two vegans too! You are a darling

Mezzaluna catered an event for hundreds of lawyers, judges, and their children at an outside, picnic-type event. Chef John, Robert, and the rest of the staff were prepared, courteous, and gracious, and they served up delicious food. Every guest I asked had nothing but good things to say about the food. And Robert even sent me pictures of the set-up, food, and some of the guests after the event! Mezzaluna would be my first choice for a caterer again. Thank you, Chef John and Robert!

The food was great!! That’s why we hired Mezzaluna to help us plan a rehearsal dinner party for our son‘s wedding. Chef John, Robert and team looked over the venue and figured out how to accommodate 68 friends and family from out of town. Not to mention 8 late additions on the day before the 4th of July! Service, timing and attention to our guests made the evening very special. Could not be happier with Mezzaluna. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Did I say the food was great?

Mezzaluna's staff was awesome to work with! They took our idea and made it better and more beautiful. Our Board Holiday Party was the best thanks to the excellent service and fantastic food. I heard nothing but compliments from the Board members, including them asking to have Mezzaluna back for this year's Holiday Party. You can't ask for anything better than what Chef John and his team provides their clients. Plus, Chef John is so much fun!

I hosted a corporate luncheon at Portland's White House last week (Dec. 2018) and I could not have been more pleased with how it turned out. The entire team paid great attention and detail to making sure our event was perfect- from the setup, to the communication, to the service the day of, to their flexibility in accommodating the many dietary restrictions our guests had. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful and the venue is absolutely gorgeous and "so classy", as my guests commented. The food was phenomenal, and the level of service was beyond my expectations. I look forward to hosting
