Services
Portland Pedal Power is committed to strengthening our community by supporting local businesses. In 2009, founder Ken Wetherell built the first cargo bike delivery enclosure (now named the Pyxis) in his garage and started delivering food to hungry locals.
Our fleet has grown to 16 delivery bikes and we are catering bigger and better lunches, fueling local restaurant sales, and promoting like minded businesses with a unique active advertising platform.

Every pedal-ad campaign is supported by friendly Brand Ambassadors who provide face-to-face engagement and integrated social media throughout the campaign.
Both companies deliver primarily to business customers and focus on exceptional customer service. Lloyd EcoDistrict announced today that it is the recipient of a $20,000 grant from the eBay Foundation. The funds will be used to help launch Lloyd Delivers, the Lloyd EcoDistrict-led initiative that promotes upstream and downstream solutions to food waste and hunger starting in the Lloyd neighborhood and at eBay Portland's Downtown office.

Our office used Portland Pedal Power to provide meals to guests at a multi-day event. They were great to work with and since they source from multiple local vendors they were able to provide a variety of diverse options for our guests and showcase many businesses. The fact that they delivered on bikes was an added perk as there were no delays from battling traffic or trying to find parking!

I only have great things to say about PPP - the customer service is absolutely amazing. I work as an EA in the Lloyd District and I don't have a car... which can sometimes make catering a challenge. There are often times when I'm asked last-minute or with relatively short notice to get something like donuts, or pie, or cake, or something else less commonly delivered, and that's where PPP comes in handy. Just today, I got asked to bring in lemon meringue pie to celebrate the wedding of a coworker... who delivers lemon meringue pie? The fine people at PPP can! I emailed info@portlandpedalpower

I've only used PPP for food deliveries, I work in the Pearl and am rarely able to leave the office so PPP is a godsend on days I have a particularly voracious appetite. The website ordering process is easy to use and payment options are plentiful. Delivery charges are fair and leave a little room to give a good tip to the rider, they deserve every penny! These guys regularly get to my office well before the estimated delivery time which is always a welcome surprise. I will continue to use PPP and will recommend to friends and colleagues.

Hey, this morning, after 6 inches of rain, no power at my house for several hours during the night, the donuts I ordered to celebrate the end of the Bike Commute Challenge 2013 arrived early and were still warm (yay: Delicious Donuts; yay: PPP). On a wet blustery Monday morning there is no greater joy if you have to work than fresh donuts delivered with a smile. Thank you!!

I used Portland Pedal Power this week for a delivery to my son at college in the Portland area. What a great service!! They were friendly, extremely helpful, delivered exactly when they said they would. I even gave them an incorrect phone number and since they had my number it was resolved quickly and efficiently. I will definitely use them again and will spread the word to the college about their service. Thank you Portland Pedal Power for your excellent work!

There are days when I forget my lunch, can't get away from the office to get lunch, and I don't feel like ordering pizza. That is why I was so thankful that a coworker had recommended PPP to me.
Their website is easy to navigate and they give you a large selection of restaurants and food carts to choose from. You simply click on the vendor of your choosing and their menu pops up. Make your selection and then checkout. Easy peasy. I can even tip online for days I have no cash... which is most days.
I haven't ordered my catering deliveries from them yet but they can deliver large

Rad, rad, RAD! I've been using Portland Pedal Power for both work lunch deliveries and, ahem, personal lunch deliveries, for those rainy or lazy days when I just don't want to venture out. And man do they... deliver! (Thank you, I'll be here all night.)
But seriously - they deliver from a variety of delicious food vendors, and they deliver other things too! Flowers, chocolate, groceries, coffee, catering... all done in the most Portland-y, eco-friendly, sustainable, bright-green way - by bike.
Also, their customer service is top-notch. They are friendly, super responsive, and

Our organization uses PPP for our lunch delivery needs and we couldn't be more pleased. The service is great and I like the variety of vendors they have to choose from. Our food is always hot and on time. Also they are delivering items in an environmentally healthy way by using bikes instead of cars. I would recommend their business to everyone! It's one less car on the street to deal with thank you PPP.

I just finally ordered lunch from Portland Pedal Power last week after putting it off for a long time. I think the concept is great and I love seeing the bikes around the downtown area, but I usually stay pretty close to the office. I was so busy last week (I think it was Tuesday), that even the thought of leaving my desk was inconceivable. I decided to give PPP as try. I checked their site and they had good amount of variety, but I ultimately settled on fish and chips from Rick's Wild Seafood. I was a little worried that the fist would be warm (I like my food to be super hot), but I

I found Portland Pedal Power on Twitter. They're a newer bicycle delivery service covering the downtown area. They are currently delivering items from a good variety of food carts downtown, Trailhead coffee Roasters, Stone Pie Joe's, Wingnut confections, New Cascadia gluten free Bakery, City Flowers, and 4th Ave Shoe Repair. The list of places that they deliver for grows all the time.
I've been very impressed both times that I've ordered. The first time, I ordered lunch from Savor Soup House. The charge was $5, which seems fair since I don't have to spend time or money
