Inner Harmony Yoga
We are a drop-in yoga studio located in the heart of downtown Missoula. Our spacious, second floor studio has lots of natural light, mountain views, original wood floors and a welcoming feel. From beginner to advanced, we believe yoga is for everyone, and therefore everyone is welcome at our studio.

Our mantra is "Make it your own practice, " and we provide the environment for you to advance in your practice if you are just starting a yoga practice, are an experienced yogi, or fall somewhere in between. One aspect of yoga is that it creates space-in the mind, in the body, in life-so that there is room to learn, grow and experience.
Services
At Inner Harmony Yoga every class is as unique as the people who show up to practice. We use the term Vinyasa to describe them, however, the definition of Vinyasa is very broad, it loosely translates to 'the linking of the breath with postures.' Vinyasa can be slow just as easily as it can be fast paced, as long as we use the breath within the postures.
Just a reminder, the entrance to the studio is in the alley behind the Gym 'Momentum' and across Main St. from 'Sorellas.' Our 'front' door is in the alleyway, and opens into a small foyer. Once there, walk up the stairs and enter our beautiful 1500 square foot studio. Natural light fills the space that is accented by the original hardwood floors.
Yoga at Work is where we bring yoga to you. Classes are small group classes taught at your place of business in a quiet, comfortable space such as a boardroom, lunch room, or gymnasium. Chairs and tables can be easily pushed aside to transform work space into "yoga space". If your company is located near Inner Harmony Yoga, we can hold class in the studio if you prefer.
At Inner Harmony Yoga we teach yoga to the best of our knowledge and ability, and we strive to constantly improve our practice so you can enhance yours. We are all expertly trained in various styles of yoga by some of the best teachers in The West. We move around the room making adjustments and offering suggestions to deepen postures, allowing everyone in the class to move to his/her edge.

I was just passing through Missoula and took an class with Brian. The studio is an open and spacious but still intimate and loved all the natural light. Brian did a wonderful job of instructing and providing feedback and made sure everyone got the most out of the class. This was a great class for people who like and appreciate more traditional and “spiritually-based” yoga, not a fast-paced fitness style yoga. It was still challenging though, of course!

I signed up for a class with Brian via ClassPass and did not have a good experience at all. On both the CP and studio sites, it said the classes were donation-based. As such, I asked my partner if he wanted to attend a class virtually and assumed my credits would cover the donation for our attendance. Upon arriving to the virtual class, my partner introduced himself as I was getting ready and explained we were both going to be doing the class together. We were then told we needed to pay $15 for another person, which clearly contradicts the “donation-based” claims all over their site. The instructor

An amazing yoga studio and the best yoga experience I've had in Missoula! Brian is very knowledgeable and genuine. His classes are inclusive with a focus on alignment and staying safe in poses. He has a depth of knowledge of yoga, alignment, and anatomy - if you truly want to learn yoga this is the place to go! Katie's classes are also really wonderful!

Visiting from out of state and found Brian's class. Loved every minute. He gave great positioning tips and took into account what the class wanted in their practice. So great! He mentioned it was their 10 year anniversary. Congratulations! Wish I lived here, would definitely grab a class package. Beautiful welcoming space too!

Very Enjoyable yoga class at a very inviting 2nd-floor studio (Love the back ally entrance- very cool). Classes are taught in the traditional Indian style: non-competitive. You are taught to follow your body and mind into the pose, without judging or comparing yourself or others. Teachers are thoughtful, accessible, and lead good yoga classes, providing care and feedback to all practitioners. Highly recommended studio.

Brian Baty has a nice studio in Missoula. He's also a fun and knowledgeable yogi and wonderful massage therapist. Laurie and Brian made my sister-in-law and me feel very welcome there. Highly recommended any time you are in Missoula or if you're a local.

I stopped in for Brian's 90-minute afternoon class while in Missoula for the day and was blown away. Such a great class! Brian was very respectful of everyone's needs and personal boundaries, and great at making sure everyone was practicing to a challenging level fit to their own limitations. Uncomfortable in a great way - I left feeling more relaxed than I have in a long time. Can't recommend this studio enough!

Visiting our son and needed a good stretch after traveling. Brian's class was a good mix of beginner and intermediate yoga poses. His class contained freedom while maintaining fundamental instruction. Show up early for a Saturday. The class was packed. Another helpful hint...the studio is in the back ally of 214 and up stairs. It's not at the personal training studio on Main Street. Enjoy!!!!

I was in Missoula visiting my daughter over the weekend. I stoped in and took a Sunday evening class. Everyone was warm and inviting. I love the feel of a small studio it's like coming home. I felt very welcomed and will definitely return when I'm back to visit this summer.

I've been in Missoula for work for the past several months and couldn't be happier that I found Inner Harmony. Brian teaches the majority of classes and he's great. However, the first time I went to a class at Inner Harmony was on a Tuesday evening with Selene and that's been my favorite thing every week since. I'm not one to wax poetic in a yelp review, but honestly Selene deserves it. She's such a positive presence and she single-handedly reminded me that yoga is supposed to be FUN. Not to say you won't work hard in her class because you will, but you'll

Best yoga studio in Missoula! If you want an authentic class where you work hard and sweat from the inside out, like we're supposed to (verses being blasted with outside heaters), try out Brian Baty's classes. He is incredibly knowledgeable and uses his understanding of anatomy to give the best adjustments/suggestions to make the most out of your practice.

Best yoga studio hands down. Brian is an absolute delight. So knowledgeable, down to earth and generous. His acro yoga jams are better than any I've been to in multiple cities around the world. The space has… very pleasant hideaway vibes. He approach to teaching yoga is lovely, he will give every single person in the class individual attention and teach to what you need that day. 20 out of 10 experience every time. Great for beginners-advanced. He's even won the yoga teacher of the year award!
