Services
Helping Hands and Healing Hearts, LLC is a Home Management and Elder Care Agency based in Stonington, CT. We are a fully accredited agency through the Department of Social Services and Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders. We have been serving clients since 2016 and provide caregiving services to all of eastern Connecticut plus southern Rhode Island including New London, Tolland, Windham, Middlesex, and Hartford counties.
We are a Connecticut based home care agency licensed to do business in the state of Connecticut and Rhode Island. We work with families and their loved ones on finding the best plans and programs for saving money.
Being a caregiver is one of the most important and personally rewarding roles a person will play in their lifetime. Yet, when we talk about caregiving we tend to focus on the challenges caregivers face, instead of the special, intangible benefits. From gaining a greater sense of purpose to new life skills, it's clear that the benefits of caregiving don't just apply to the recipient, but also those who provide the care.
Fill out as much as possible so we can process your application faster. Do you have any family, business, health, or social restrictions or obligations that would prevent you from performing the job responsibilities?* Do you have any physical or mental condition or handicap which would endanger the health or safety of yourself and or others or that may affect your ability to perform the job(s) for which you are applying?*
Over 400 programs provide financial assistance for elder care. Help comes from federal, state, and local governments, the VA, non-profits, private organizations, and as many as 50 other agencies. The large number of sources and different and often conflicting qualification rules makes determining one's eligibility a challenge.

This is a review on behalf of Emma E down below if you read all reviews . It doesn’t allow you to reply to the owners comments . I was a full time live in caregiver . Employed with her for 5 months . I was never part time , not sure why she said that . I Want to post text messages and stubs for proof but I don’t want to post phone numbers or my adress from stubs . I had a family emergency once which she had been aware of days prior , I asked for her to get a cover for that day ( which wasn’t even my shift was covering for someone else ) Which is why she mentioned putting personal

This is the worst company to work for or bring your loved ones to be cared for . I had to quit because it is not a good company . The “ good “ reviews are from management. The boss is very rude/unprofessional and forceful . That’s why she barely has anyone working for her , everyone quits . she only cares about her money . I’ve watched clients not get well taken care of and been neglected by other caregivers while she’s aware she still didn’t do anything about it til the families had to take their loved ones out of her company . She doesn’t care for her clients . She doesn’t care

*FROM AN EMPLOYMENT POINT OF VIEW*
The client’s you get when working for this company can be the best and you grow so fond of them but for some reason when I began working here, everything seemed so disorganized from the employee side of things. It was a but difficult to get a reply back from the boss on some occasions and when you had personal/family issues it seemed as if they weren’t taken seriously. In one situation, I drove 40 minutes to a clients house and found out I wasnt supposed to be there and didnt find out until I got back home that the client cancelled and I was failed to be
