Went in for removal of 2 wisdom teeth. Woke up from anesthesia to only 1 tooth being removed with the doctor storming off without a word to me. Secretary then tried gaslighting me into paying for the failed procedure when insurance said they had only approved removal of both teeth. This dentist is a hack-fraud and you should trust other clinics with your health and money. *edit in response to owner* I'm not surprised that you don't remember your mistreatment but it most assuredly happened in 2018. I’ve gone here a few times now for cleanings and have had great experiences each time. They even helped contact me with orthodontists for Invisalign treatment to help me save a few bucks. Even short staffed right now due to the labor storage, I was met with smiles and good energy, which says a lot about the individuals not just the practice itself. I’m a lifer here!

I had to have significant work done on my mouth since I didn't take great care of my teeth during COVID. Ascent Dental was fantastic about identifying all of the work I needed, answered all the questions I had, and gave me a great breakdown of the estimated cost. When it came time to have my cavities filled and a wisdom tooth removed, they did all of the work quickly, efficiently, and made it as painless as possible! I expected everything to take 3 hours from past experience, but they were able to do it (and do it well) in half of the time.

So I had gone to Ascent dental for a while.... I had many cavities filled... had to come back a few time to get them fixed, etc. I just moved up to Eagle... and went to the dentist up here for the first time. I hadn't been to a dentist in over a year (I was pregnant) and FULLY expected to have cavities since my Ascent visit a year ago and they told me I had "baby" cavities they were watching..... plus I was pregnant (creates bad teeth)....nope no cavities! Up here they said I look great.

This place will scam you in any way possible. I went in for a regular cleaning and they took xrays, claiming I had cavities and needed deep cleaning. There was NOTHING on the xrays and they sent me home without doing a normal cleaning because "it's easier to bill insurance when we do it all at once." Such a waste. Complete shady scammers.

I went to Ascent dental once because it is very close to where I live and the reviews seemed good. While I was there they said that there was an issue updating my insurance so I would have to pay $400 out of my pocket for right now, and they assured me that once the insurance checked out they would refund the money directy to my card. Two weeks later my insurance paid them the amount in full but they still have not payed me back. It has now been exactly 3 months since this happened and I keep calling them to get my money back but they have been nothing but rude and unhelpful. I called today and

I'm new to the area & wanted a dentist close to where I live. Everything looked good on the website; but when I tried to make an appointment, they wanted my social security number. There is no reason to have to give that out nor is my insurance associated with that number. I never give out my SS number unless to a financial institution. I found it extremely audacious to require my SS number even after I provided my insurance information. Needless to say, I did not nor will not use this service.

What an extraordinary dental practice! I have had many dental providers and their staffs over the years but Ascent Dental, Dr Jeff Johnson, and his staff are the best. They care! You feel that when you enter their lovely offices. You are not just a number here. Dr Johnson and his terrific assistant just did a wonderful job and got me in immediately… after I broke a tooth. It looks better now than even my original tooth. I drive from Loveland to Denver/Cherry Creek to have work done by Dr Johson and it's worth the drive. TRY THIS PRACTICE! You'll not return to your old one!

My husband and I visited ascent dental the same week and both left feeling less than satisfied. The dentist told me I had four cavities that needed filling. Then told my husband that he had gum disease and they would be unable to even preform a cleaning, yet charged him the full price. They recommended I get four enamel fillings. (Not covered by insurance.) And that my husband get a deep clean ($500.)
