I've been in practice for over 25 years, and I love being an orthodontist. Each day, I feel very fortunate to walk into my office and have the chance to work with my amazing patients and staff. I believe orthodontics is an extraordinary profession. It gives me the privilege to serve each patient in a personal way.

Dr. VanDevanter will be providing your care. She is a trained specialist in orthodontic care. In addition to completing four years of undergraduate education and four years of dental school, she has an additional two years of full-time orthodontic residency at the University of Washington. We have enjoyed being part of the Federal Way community for over 20 years.
Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile that you've always wanted. Amazing staff! Very friendly and awesome with kids! Took my 12 year old, who is very nervous, staff made her feel very comfortable. Dr. VanDevanter was very through and explained eberything and answered all my questions. As walked me through the entire process she also explained what we would be expecting during the treatment. All team members worked well together and the environment was warm and inviting!

My family and I have all gone to see Dr. V and we all absolutely love her. She really cares about making sure you love the outcome of your smile as well as making sure you feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

This practice has amazing assistants and they do a great job at making sure that their patients are well informed and cared for! I got treated for braces and a kid and Invisalign as a teenager and they were amazing at making sure that I was well versed in what was needed of me as a patient! Happy with my smile :)

I enrolled my daughter at Dr VanDevanter for braces a couple years back. First off I want to say the staff is very professional and friendly and the office is extremely well kept! As for my daughter the doctor immediately noticed that her wisdom teeth were coming in crooked and not only would it affect her outcome with the braces it potentially could have bigger impacts on her oral health. Dr V explained everything very clearly and was very helpful. The oral surgeon she rereferred us to was top notch and did an amazing job removing the wisdom teeth. The healing took no time at all. I had the best experience with braces here!! I needed some major work done for my teeth and I didn’t really think I would have a pretty smile but they blew my expectations. Every time someone complements my smile I always refer them to this place! All the staff are so friendly and very helpful with any questions you have. Go check them out!!

Been in this Orthodontist for 4 years, they’re very caring and treat you with respect. The staff here feel more like friends then people that take care of your braces, they ask about your day and are genuinely sweet people. I always enjoy coming back and talking to staff because i know they care. 10/10 experience. I’m also very pleased with my smile

My two daughters started visiting this clinic 6 years ago, and I spent over $15,000. At that time, I was told that the orthodontics clinic was the best in the Federal way. A dentist and staffs were very friendly. But a half of staffs who worked, left now, and a new young orthodontist works with VanDevanter now.
