From routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices, Crumpton Family Dentistry is equipped to handle all your dental needs. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

Dr. Reid Crumpton is a true East Tennessee native - spending the first 10 years of his life in Maryville before his family relocated to Knoxville. He graduated from Bearden High School, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Zoology, and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in Memphis, TN.
We are located in Powell, on Emory Road right off I-75, almost across from the new Kroger. Please use our online appointment request or call us to schedule. If you cannot keep a scheduled appointment for ANY reason, please call us at 865-938-1230 as soon as possible to reschedule. We accept most traditional insurance plans; please call our office and Sherry will be happy to answer your questions or verify acceptance of your insurance plan.
If you cannot print, we have copies available at the front desk to fill out; however, please arrive an extra 10-15 minutes before your designated appointment time if you choose this option. Your first visit will follow one of two paths: the "problem-focused" or "emergency" exam, or a comprehensive exam and cleaning.
