RockStar was founded with one shuttle in 2003 by James Houseman, a college student who wanted to add some energy and excitement to the transportation business. This is for a reservation where the number of hours for the reserved event is divided within the day. The hours of service are not continuous. Example (2pm-4pm and again from 7pm-9pm) Total of 4 hours. It is the waiting time spent by the driver behind the wheel waiting and is applicable to out of town rides e.g.
Customer's credit card information will only be used for authorization in order to hold your vehicle. Nothing will be charged to your credit card unless you decide to cancel within 10 days of reservation. If the cancellation occurs within 10 days of the reserved date, a $100 cancellation fee will be charged to your credit card.

They do not have any lemo's.... believe me... they schedule us a lemo wine tour for 4 people in a navagator.... i assumed Navagator lemo as i ask for a lemo... it ended being a regular car... older navagator... they refunded all my money is the only good thing... ruined my surprise for my wife's 34 year anaversary.... rggg

Terrible service. My friend rented a trolley bus from them and confirmed multiple times on how big of a bus we needed. They gave us the wrong capacity bus where some of the guests had to be let off and find their own transportation because we were over capacity. Multiple emails and texts were sent before to confirm for a 36 passenger trolley and we were given a 24 passenger trolley. We payed for a 36 passenger bus for 3 hours and only got 30 minutes and having to kick some of the guests off. It was the most stressful situation and ruined our night out as well as my friends birthday!!! We emailed

I used RockStar for my daughters wedding. They where so on top of it from the office staff to the drivers. We had a lot of guests staying at a lot of different places so the moving parts where daunting. RockStar made is so stress free and helped to calm my nerves and took control of all the transportation requests my daughter wanted. Don't use this company. You won't get what you reserved! Birthday weekend I reserved a limo van. I wanted a regular limo but they were out so I said ok to the van with the wine tour and lunch. All reservations were made, everything looked good. 5 minutes before pick up I get a call saying the van was unavailable and they were sending an SUV. I was very upset because that was not what I reserved. I could've just done a taxi or uber for a fraction of the price at that point! What a fantastic experience we had with this company. Stephanie and I went back and forth via email for a couple weeks. She scheduled all the winery reservations for us. I must add, this was no easy task with Covid. Somehow she pulled it off. It was so nice to have that taken off our plate. Then, the day of, Kira was our driver. She was AMAZING! The day was potentially going to be a challenge because 30 min before our pick up time, the electricity went out throughout the entire valley. I've used RockStar Transportation a few times now and it's always been a great experience. We used the limo service to shuttle our wedding guest to and from our event and everyone kept telling us what a great experience it was. The driver was super friendly and patient with our 200+ guest.

I used RockStar Transportation for transport from LAX to Santa Barbara after an overseas business trip. After a 15 hour flight, the last thing you want to do is stress on your ride, so getting a text soon after landing letting us know he was waiting for us outside the terminal and to let him know when we've cleared customs was greatly appreciated. I went to Santa Barbara for my bachelorette and wanted a fun activity to do. Booked a wine tour package with Rock Star, and it did not disappoint. The company helped with planning lunch in the area and picked it up for us to picnic at a winery. The bus driver was so nice and fun and willing to take as many photos that we wanted. All the recommended wineries were great. And it helped that the driver knew the wineries and their staff well. We had so much fun! I highly recommend.

If you value your time and money you won't book with this company. The only 5 star reviews that they have are from their own employees!! Pay attention to all the other reviews and you'll get an accurate idea of what this company actually "provides".

I rarely write negative reviews, but this one is truly an exception, and something everyone needs to know. Do NOT hire this company. The driver we had for an hour-long drive out to the wineries not only was hurtling along and driving somewhat dangerously in a trolley with no seats, he was falling ASLEEP at the wheel. (This was 1:00 pm in the afternoon.) He kept nodding off several times throughout the drive. Do not book this company. I was on a wine trolley and the driver was incredibly rude, but more importantly an unsafe driver. He wanted to take shortcuts and get us there faster, but we said we wanted to just get there safely. So, he began speeding and swerving to pass cars. THE WORST PART is he started FALLING ASLEEP at the wheel!!! His eyes would close and the trolley would swerve. My friends rented RockStar Transportation for my Bachelorette last weekend. I rarely write reviews, but this is an absolute MUST. We started the day heading inland on our 1 hour drive to the wineries in Los Olivos. We took off around 12:30pm and immediately notice how fast Kurt, our driver was driving. My friends and I were on a Bachelorette trip and rented a trolley to go wine tasting an hour north of Santa Barbara. We had the worst experience. What was supposed to be a fun, carefree celebration, ended up being a stressful, nerve-wracking 1 hour windy ride with the driver falling asleep at the wheel and speeding - AT THE SAME TIME!! We ordered a trolley to drive us to few vineyards in Santa Barbara. After 20 mins of our trip all our group suddenly changed their festive mood to fearless.

Such a rude and unhelpful company!! I booked a party bus wine tour for my birthday, and they were seemingly helpful at the beginning, but boy was I wrong. They first come across as helpful- making reservations and what not, but they were NOT reliable. They fed me multiple lies in the planning process.

A terrible company to work with. Please Please Please don't use them!! Here's what happened: We made a reservation in September for 34 people to travel around Santa Barbara on December 22nd to look at the holiday lights. Family, Friends, kiddos and some of these people were from out of town.

So I bought 5 tickets for me and friends to go on Christmas light trolley tour for Thursday Dec. 7th. Since the fires have been going on the air quality in Santa Barbara is very bad, as well as possible danger since fires are still burning. They had called me the day of trolley tour to cancel event because of the Thomas fire and to reschedule.
