This inn is a trip and a treat. The front desk people are helpful, kind, and fun. It is a bit pricy, the TV set directions are not really helpful, the toilet paper is of a lesser quality than the airport, BUT, all those minor gripes aside, I would
return again and again. This one of a kind place is a treasure. Roof desk to watch the surf...comfy bed...everything one needs for a pleasant and wonderful weekend. Thanks Doryman's Inn. It was great.

Fabulous place- cozy rooms beautifully appointed and maintained- accommodating staff and well informed. Fabulous views and sunsets- also a terrific restaurant attached to the hotel- specializing in fine dining and steaks and seafood.
Specifically, our dinner- a filet mignon and my partner had free range chicken breast - garlic mashed potatoes- roasted Brussels sprouts and a fabulously decadent chocolate cake.

I have stayed here twice in the last few months and it has been an incredible stay. The first time the entire block had a blackout and Laura (sorry if spelling is wrong) brought us flashlights and stayed to make sure everyone was okay . And the second time she went ABOVE and beyond the realm of expectations to make sure my needs were taken care of. I cannot recommend this place and the care enough.

Excellent location, beautiful views, unique boutique hotel, amazing staff, views and 21 Oceanfront restaurant incredible food & experience! I stayed a few nights in the Bellagio
with jacuzzi with/ side view of the ocean and a front room with direct ocean views which are incredible! Walk right out grab a coffee and walk the beach & pier! Great restaurants all around and the Ocean21 is phenomenal, downstairs! Rent an electric bike and enjoy! Definitely will be back!

Quaint, romantic little place. Only 10 rooms. Very convenient location. Excellent staff. Highly recommend for 2 or 3 day visit. Not the best breakfast but many places within walking distance if you want more.

Short lil story...

Booked a room to stay for a night. Couple of weeks passes by and I went to go cancel my reservation online, it said I didn't have a reservation. So I gave em a call to cancel, but they couldn't find my reservation.

It looks like I used my gf's email instead of mine!

I was originally charged for the room but Doryman's was very kind to refund me after explaining the situation.

That was an awesome gesture, in return, I will be booking a two 1-night stays in the near future!

So beautiful and clean but the greatest attribute by far is the staff. They go above and beyond. The bass from Sharkey’s across the street was keeping us up every night till 2am. Called to see if there was anything the hotel could do. Even though this is no fault of their own, they immediately started putting solutions together and moved us to a quieter room. That kind of customer service just doesn’t exist anymore. Well played Doryman’s, well played.

As soon as you step into the lobby, you are taken back in time. The overall decor makes the Doryman's Inn, a fun place to stay. The floral aroma and staff, are the cherry on top. We loved our stay and would stay there again.

Not my kind of place. Old and needs updating, musty, loud, uncomfortable bed, small spaces (bathrooms), uncomfortable in room seating/lounging furniture, terrible parking situation BUT very nice and understanding staff. I won't be making another reservation there anytime soon. Whoever owns this place needs to invest in proper parking plans and modern amenities that are able to stay true to the character of the building. Not worth the sleepless nights. It's a perfect place for people who want to get drunk and stumble to a convenient location to pass out safely, not caring about comfort

Shhh, don't tell anyone that this is a cool place, real cool! It's a hidden gem, shhh lol 10 out of 10

The place is amazingly located. The staff are amazing!! (Shout out to Lauren and Daniel) The views are unbeatable. Wow! But *definitely* needs some revamp.. the patchwork is rampant. We might end up breaking floor..

Just wanted to do a quick shout-out for another awesome experience at Doryman's Inn this past weekend.. We always book room #8 because of how big it is and the view. It can get lil noisey late at nite, but my wife & I were good. It always is very comfy & clean. Lauren and the other ladies behind the desk, are always pleasant & professional. They will help you out instantly with whatever it may be. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Newport. My wife & I have had a great time & made awesome memories here...Looking forward to our next booking in the

Where should I start. I have always wanted to stay at this place. So when I got the chance I booked a 2 day stay in July. I made the reservations in beginning of June to get a nice room. I wanted a room with a ocean view. And a king size bed. I arrived at the place around 3:pm and there was no one to take in our luggage. When I asked if someone could help, the girl that worked in the afternoon gave me an attitude . I am a senior citizen and my daughter was in crutches. When i noticed that all my items were not delivered to my room. She rolled her eyes and gave a snotty attitude that she was

Loved our spacious room and the decor of the place and the room. Location is hard to beat, staff is great. Ocean views are fantastic. Restaurant downstairs is phenomenal.
The only detraction is the horrendous noise from the beach parking lot that is visited by an energetic crowd into the wee hours of the morning.

Very stinky. Smelled like weed entire stay. Room was very stale. Only air movement was with doors open. $1200 mistake. Mold in bathroom. Hair from previous guest in room. Huge mistake staying here. Also, credit card charged before arrival without consent. Only 1 tv in room and other "room" was not separated by door. Entire room was open.

Husband & I visited the Inn 4/6/2021 - 4/8/2021 for his birthday. We loved it!
The Inn only has 11 Rooms. We had the Suite (Room #4.) Every room is different in size, furniture, scenery and its own identity. Rooms look Victorian style. Its also a bed & breakfast.
A Continental Breakfast is included with stay. Mornings in the Parlor Out by the patio area from 7:30 am - 10:30 am. They have cereal bowls, milk, orange juice, fruit cups, yogurt cups, muffins, granola bars, bagels, cream cheese, coffee, & hot water for tea or oatmeal.
There is a second patio area above the Inn! Its a beautiful view

Not kid friendly, room was smaller than we thought it would be. It was a king room, stated online it was a large 2 bedroom. That's not correct, it's just one large room.
Our ac kept turning off and the heat kept coming on.
Breakfast was not what we thought for what we paid for the room. Was cereal, yogurt, and bagels.
Staff was nice but that's it. Definitely not worth it for the cost.
Won't be staying there again.

By far one of the best stays I’ve had in a long time!! Check in was a breeze! The young lady at the front desk with the dark hair was BEYOND nice and helpful!!! The location was perfectly situated next to the beach. And the balcony views were incredible!! I would certainly stay here again!

My partner and I stayed here before and after I had a surgery at the local hospital, and the hotel staff were so helpful and kind. They made sure I had everything I needed, and even upgraded our room for the night after the surgery to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The decor is great, the beds are super comfortable, and the beach views make it feel like you have tour own private beach. Highly recommend!

We have stay here off and on for years. Give both kids stays here. This weekend we stayed in room 6. Great room but with the restaurant only servicing out side guest were right outside our room load and parting till 11:30. I had to call to asked them to quit down...
What you pay for the room make sure the restaurant isn't useing that area.
Everything else was great.
