Dr. Montana has always known that her heart would pull her towards her love for animals, and her mind is very science oriented. She has found veterinary medicine to be that magical intersection of science and compassion, which feeds her soul while also challenging her spirit.

Practicing emergency and outpatient medicine through the years, Dr. Montana felt the need to create a space where people who love animals- and love science- could come together to offer the most current medicine blended with compassion.

Our animal companions are genetically designed to be strong and healthy; To be well, not ill. Mistaken lifestyle choices can lead to diseases ranging from obesity to cancer. Bio-dynamic food choices, regular exercise and environmental stimulation, basic home-care techniques, and carefully tailored vaccine selection are just a few of the keys to a healthy vital immune system.

We're located in beautiful North Tahoe on Wasisiw (Washoe) land. Our facility includes a fully-equipped veterinary hospital, staffed with a team that prioritizes the highest standard of care for your pet. We specialize in diagnostics, surgery, emergency services, dentistry, digital radiology, laser therapy, and provide personalized consulting to match you and your pet's needs.

Whether your pet is with us for the day or for a few nights, we make sure he or she is having a comfortable and playful experience (and plenty of scratches)!. We offer baths, hikes in the forest, nail trims, ear cleanings, and brush outs during your pets stay, but these are all additional costs. Please ask about pricing at check in.
