My disabled brother hasn't attended his Day Program (Pride Industries) since March 13 ,2020. Even though Medstar has not been transporting my brother five days a week, they have been receiving their full 23 days a month pay !!.
Now that Medstar picks my brother up once a week for about one and a half fir a short outing, the driver complains that it should only be "one" hour a week because 1.5 hours puts him behind schedule?
Really ? I explained to the driver his company is receiving 23 days worth of pay every month since March of last year.

I like the med start because they are nice to me some bus driver they will open the door for me and they close the door for me. Some bus driver they will not open the door for me they willnot close the door for me I get upset of some bus driver they are not doing ther jod good my afternoon bus drive he will open the door for me. The drivers are always professional. But, if you have a problem with the heat. I would not suggest you call them. Most of their fleet of vans are very, very old. With outdated air conditioning in the back of the van. Windows do not open either. So like this week when it's going to be sweltering hot, don't ride with them. It's dangerous!

2x daily their drivers come into our community and exceed the speed limit. We have private roads with posted speed limits. In truth, it is more like one long alley with the garages opening directly onto it. Our residents, their children and animals use the paved alley to move about the complex which is why the speed limit is so low. The company's office has been contacted several times but any improvement is short lived. I am thoroughly disgusted with them at this point.

I called to schedule their service and they informed me that they didn't have enough drivers on that day, but that they would only be able to accept the ride if it was a round trip. When I asked to change it to a round-trip ride, the phone representative then said that the scheduling coordinator would not accept the ride, and hung up. Overall, very unprofessional treatment and it's understandable that they were unable to provide the service, but their phone staff should be better trained with respect in their customer service skills and how to speak politely to callers.

MedStar is a great example of an all around professional and friendly company. From drivers to management MedStar staff continue to represent the company in a positive light. Also, their vehicles are well maintained, clean, and safe (including the safety backup horn to ensure safety of all those close to the vehicle). Medstar doesn't bother caring about neighboring residents of their ride customers. Management has been alerted multiple times for their drivers disrespect and alerted to the fact that their vans, when placed in reverse, make a loud persistent "beep, beep, beep" alarm similar to what you would hear from construction equipment at a construction site. You can understand that this creates a very big problem of cohabitation for those living nearby whom understandably want and have the right to rest.

My wife and I have a small carehome and we have had several transportation companies provide daily transportation to and from our clients programs with modirate serve. We are now using medstar, and find this company to be far and above the others. They pick up our clients on time every day with different drivers, apparently they prepair their drivers on where they are going before they start the runs. On returning them home after program is over our clients travel time is basically 30-45 minutes travel time, versas the 2 to 3 hours travel time from the other companies. MedStar drivers are very
