My hair stylist, Sheri was so sweet and had many years of experience. She was very thorough and detail oriented with my hair. She got the right color with only one bleach and tone session which is unheard of for my hair.
My hair is black and she was able to give me blonde beautiful highlights. I was so impressed.
The owner was also there the day of my appointment. He is very welcoming and accommodating.

I had a 5 star experience today at Del Beauty Box! I just recently moved to the area and I was in dire need of a haircut and color. I called earlier in the week and was able to get in this morning with Sheri. Sheri's expertise in hair and her personality made for an exciting day for me! I LOOOOOOVE the way she cut and styled my hair. I actually forgot to even show her the screenshots from Pinterest of what I wanted, but she's such an expert that she nailed it with how I described what I wanted. I feel like a whole new woman with my new haircut! I will definitely be back here!

Masterful hair cut and color. Sheri is a master of her craft. My hair looks natural and lovely. My hair is thick and curly, Getting a good cut that lets my hair move and shine is tricky. She did a great job. And she is kind and positive as well. The salon is managing CDC requirements with grace and firmness. I already referred someone - and their cut was amazing. I have looked for excellence in cut in color for eight years. Done looking.

When I came into this salon, my hair was such a mess. I tried bleaching it myself and clearly failed and ended up coloring it blue. I am shocked at how much of a great job Shohreh did in only one session! Everyone here is very friendly and made me feel super comfortable. I would definitely recommend this salon to all of my friends and family! It truly is a gem.

I took my teen daughters here, and they got their hair cut by Sheri. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Ace. Doors in front and back were open, temperatures were taken and we sanitized our hands. I felt completely comfortable that they were following all CDC recommendations. Sheri did a fantastic job with my daughters long and somewhat dry hair. They checked in several times to make sure the cut was to my satisfaction. Ace gave us a few complimentary samples for being first time customers. It was clear they care about their business and service. I will gladly return.

I am so impressed with this Salon. The owner is gracious and made me feel extremely welcome and appreciated that I was there. Sheri first did a cut and highlights on my daughter's hair. Sheri's customer service, attention to detail, knowledge, and charm made me come back and do the same for myself. She had to spend almost 4 hours on my hair to fix my at home mistakes and also waited for an hour for me while I had a conference call I had to make in the middle of my appointment and did not make me feel bad at all for doing so. I'm new to the area and was in need of a haircut. I had been going to the same hair stylist in my previous hometown for decades, so I was nervous to try anyone new. Based on Yelp reviews, I selected Jennifer at Del Beauty Box and I was THRILLED with the results!! I was so excited to see they were available for haircuts on the patio! (by appointment only). I hadn't had my haircut in 6 months and was craving one but couldn't find any salons with patios open. They were responsive, booked me the next day, and offered a special since I was only doing a cut. Super friendly/ welcoming , did a cute style, and felt very safe. After the style I felt like I should have a night out in the town...but with Covid nothing was open ;) Highly recommend if you are in the Del Mar/N SD area!

I got a cut and balayage with Bahar. She is a hair artist! She really took her time in painting the different layers for a very detailed and fine balayage. She designed the cut so that the layers highlight her color work. I've found my forever salon. Thank you Bahar!
Note- this was my first visit to a salon since the pandemic started. I felt the salon was very clean and had their protocols posted at the door and throughout the salon. Bahar wore a mask the entire time and washed her hands often. I felt very comfortable in the sanitation efforts.

This is actually my 2nd review of this place. My 1st one was in 2015. I have been going here now for years and have never been disappointed. Bahar is amazing, and the entire staff is too. I travel a lot for work, so when I couldn't get Bahar, she told me I had the option of booking Niloo.

Worst experience at a hair salon. Bahar refused to reimburse me after telling me they would find a way to compensate me after this terrible hair dye job. Sheri was so hard on my hair and rushing me through the whole “balayage” because she “didn’t have time” and she had another client soon. she didn’t do the back end of my hair which she admitted it when it was too late and my hair was dry.
