Betty Ann's Sandwich Shop

I loved this place growing up in Danvers. So it was so nostalgic to come back for a visit and pick up subs from here again. The sign hanging from the building is the same one from back in the day...sure they added some window signage, but that old school Betty Ann's sign is classic. I ordered the Italian mini. Tastes exactly the same. The bread was soft and fresh there was the perfect ratio of meat to the fixins. So well done. The staff were great and made the food quickly. I hope this place sticks around forever because the quality of food and service is fantastic.

Lovely sub shop with very good subs. Nothing too special but no complaints. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

In a pinch I needed a platter of wraps - in an hour and on a busy Saturday Betty Ann's delivered. The wraps were delicious and enjoyed by all. The customer service was much appreciated. Thank you!

First time @ Betty Ann's & they have awesome Italian subs (which I crave when I'm hung over). They also have some unique items on their menu and I will definitely be back soon!

My husband and I just moved to Danvers and wanted to try this local shop. I saw a lot a of good reviews on here so I’m not sure what happened today. My husband ordered a meatball sub and I got a turkey club. The meatball cub was cold. The bread on the club wasn’t toasted so the club was cold as well. My mother got a turkey sandwich that didn’t come as ordered. Probably won’t go here again.

A small family restaurant w seating outside, food was really good, and they have their own bottled soda including I had cream soda.

I'd suggest calling in if you're ordering around lunch or dinner time, although they do take walk-in orders. Incredible quality, large portions, good prices, huge menu, homemade sode, family owned long running institution, how can you go wrong? Yummy sandwiches. Go nowhere else for a good sandwich!!!

I was in the area and in the mood for a turkey sub and I remembered that I had wanted to try Betty Ann's for awhile but the timing was never right. Luckily, the stars aligned and I called in my order and spoke to a really nice man on the phone who promised it would be ready in 10 minutes or less. Fast!

Very small shop that is hard to miss but there's a giant parking lot across the street (also nearby is Cherry Street Fish Market which is back open after a renovation and my go to place for crab rolls in the summer). I was in and out in no time. I need to remember to bring cash in the

If you like sandwiches this is the place to go. If you like supporting small business instead of chains, enjoy owners and staff with some personality and a really cool vibe then you should go see Pete and his staff. Great food great atmosphere and a very large menu. My personal favorite is the Cuban. If you cant have Gluten like me, Pete got his hands on some really good Gluten free bread.

No more Betty Ann's for me!

The woman with the shoulder length blonde hair has made it very clear that doing her job making sandwiches is just too irritating for her and she can't be bothered. Several times in a row her sighs and eyerolls have gotten through to me that she obviously doesn't want my business. And I was a loyal customer for four years and a good tipper, too.

There are plenty of other places around town that know how to be polite.

My husband drove 20 minutes to get me a turkey stuffing sandwich from here because of Facebook reviews saying how good they were. The sandwich was dry, not toasted, the bread crumbled in my hands as I tried eating it, barely any mayo or cranberry sauce on it. It was basically just a few slabs of deli turkey thrown onto old bread. Gross and disappointing, will definitely not be back.

I have to say I never had a bad sandwich from Betty Ann's for years till I bought 6 subs for a small gathering. The Roastbeef sub only had two slices in it with two slices of cheese. The price I paid for the sub and the return on there profit must be paying for someone's college. Now I have to think if I want a Roastbeef from there again. I would have given this three stars but because I spent so much money, I was pissed and embarrassing for me to my guests.

I have been going to this place for years and they always give great service and a generous amount of food. When I order subs I don't usually order tuna but I do quite often order tuna here, I don't know what they do but it is the best tuna they sell a lot, prices are decent and never got anything I didn't like, give them a try.

Betty Ann's was suggested by friends of mine, so I stopped by to pick us all up sandwiches. I was somewhat disappointed in my seafood salad sandwich. although it was very tasty and fresh, the ratio of bread to the actual seafood salad was too much bread. so just a heads up to Betty Ann's to please provide more filling than bread to your seafood salad and you've got a winner

Best sandwich shop in the north shore!!!!!! They have the freshest ingredients and great prices!!!! This is definitely our go to lunch spot!

They make really good sandwiches and subs. Tuna is great and all cold cut subs are really good. They're good size for price. The only thing I noticed and the main reason for the 3 stars .... is that I believe the older gentleman who I believe might be the owner does not use plastic gloves. The other employees who are usually younger late teens early 20's all wear gloves while making your sandwich/sub. The older gentleman does not wear gloves and cashes people out and touches money, coins etc.

It's not the biggest deal but I always question it hope that the person wearing the gloves

Across from the old coal depo, that building must have seen a lot of local culture pass by.

I love Betty Anne's! It is the only place you can get an actual pickle sub, you read that correctly, a sub with just pickles (well I like it with mustard). The egg salad though is AMAZING, it is fresh, not much mayo and absolutely delicious. They load the subs with as much as they can possibly fit in the rolls! The bacon is also crispy and awesome addition to any sub.

Can't begin to tell you how many times I've passed by here and said I've got to check it out someday. Well, that day finally came and I can't believe I waited so long! The Homemade Egg Salad sub I ordered was unbelievable! The flavor was absolutely spot-on, it was incredibly filling, super soft and fresh bread, and a huge portion of onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles that you simply just dont find in modern quick-sub shops [like Subway] anymore. The employees were super friendly, which is a plus also! A+, and I'll be returning regularly whenever I want a sub!

One slice of turkey???? Use to be so good but feels like going to subway with the portions. :(
