Some properties accept pets if authorized in writing by Aapex Property Management, and if the owner has agreed to participate in the "Preferred Pet Program". Applied for a tour of this place via a Zillow advertisement. Stated prior to the tour I would have a cosigner, and they booked me a tour anyway. Cost me a full days travel time to look at the place only for them to reject the application afterwards because they neglected to read the forms I submitted them prior. All interactions with them have been highly unprofessional and would not recommend working with Aapex unless you're desperate.
Edit: Continued to harass me via text when I tried to explain and denied the listing even existed on Zillow.

If you are looking for a place to rent, stay away from this Property Management team. I reported some issues with the property I was renting since the very first month I got there, after I moved out from it, I was charged from my security for those things I complained about.
I sent the disputes and they always responded something like "we are reviewing this, it should be ready soon". 3 months after, they were asking me what I was disputing for again.
Don't do business here, there are other property

Aapex has managed my property for over 10 years, and this company is equal by few. Every action that they have handled for me, has surpassed my expectations. Each time that I have dealt with a personnel from this company, they have all been extremely pleasant, and more than willing to solve my problems. I am retired, I travel a lot, I spend three-four months in Hawaii every year, and I never have to worry about my rental property. I give my highest rating to this company and would recommend them to anybody.

Everything was going great. Up until I never got a screen door like all the other units, when I decided to move out after 1 year. My deposit of 1.5 x's the rent was completely kept and they also are trying to charge me an extra 2k.
How do you break a stove? They are making me completely replace the floor? I left the place cleaner than I found it. Absolutely INSANE! Times like this I'm lucky to have a lawyer in the family.

My girlfriend and I are very pleased with the experience that we've had with Aapex management. They were very responsive, answered any questions that we had, and they have an amazing renters portal for managing payments and repair requests. My experience with Aapex has been flawless. Every time I called their office everyone I have spoken to have been extremely polite and courteous. As an investor I have dealt with many property management companies and Aapex is by far the best. I wish I can use them on my other investment properties that are out of state. If you are an investor or looking to rent a property, you need not look any further because it just doesn't get any better than the people at Aapex!! They are truly the Nordstrom of customer service in the property management business.

We rented out our condo using Aapex, and they were easy to work with and provided a valuable service to us. Their website also makes it easy to see what you are getting at different price points and to see exactly what services they offer. They took great care of our home and were always on top of things.

We have have had an extremely positive experience with Aapex Property Management. They helped us through some property updates, rental estimates, and a fence replacement following storm damage. We own the rental property in the Bay Area but live in southern CA. I don’t know what we would have done without Aapex managing our property for us, especially last year when I became very ill. I could relax and recover, not worrying about our rental property. The personnel are friendly, professional and hard working.

I had been looking for a home to rent for several months which means I encountered in my journey many many property managers. Aapex was the quickest to respond and process my application. They answered all of my meticulous questions via phone or email. Once I found a home, they quickly sent over instructions on next steps. I stopped by the office to pick up the keys and was greeted by one of the lovely staff members who reassured me that someone in the office would always be available to help me. The entire staff was very professional in handling my move in. Don't deal with this company. They do not have very good customer service. Everything has to be done online. We have over 15 years of paying rent timely, not a single time paying late. We have good credit score, over 700. Our combined gross income is $89K and they specifically asked for $90K. We turned in our taxes along with our application and $45 so they knew we "didn't qualify", yet they still asked for my wife's application and another $45. Why did they still ask for my wife's application if already knew I wasn't going to qualify, did they just want to

I've been renting from Aapex for a month now, and everything has gone very smoothly. It only took a couple days to process my application, and I was able to move in quickly without trouble.
So far I haven't had any maintenance needs, but if/when I do I'll update this review. I'll also update when I move out. So far service has been great so I hope I can report that that continues.
All in all, I highly recommend Aapex.

This is from the perspective of a renter. Before we even moved in, they hit you with $40 per person application fee. (FYI, they really like fees! They have fees for all sorts of things like paying rent at the office instead of mailing it to the bank.) Then they increased the deposit because we only had 3.5 years of (spotless) rental history instead of 4 years. When we finally moved in, the apartment was NOT clean so we had to clean everything before we could even unpack! Well, this is certainly something I didn't expect I'd be doing, however, I felt I had to do this to protect all of you out there who may be considering either using this company to manage your property or renting a place from them.
First of all, I want to tell you that we did not rent the house we wanted to rent, as much as we loved it, because of the total lack of integrity, honesty, and the shadiness this company illustrated to us in our dealings with them. I recently was accepted for a home through Aapex Property Management. My review is based on the interactions I had with Lourdes. She is awesome! Lourdes works extremely quickly. Applying for the home was the easiest and most responsive process I have ever experienced. I am very content with how quickly they reviewed my application and got back to me.

Very happy today with Aapex. We woke up to a problem with our toilet. It was fine last night and then this morning no luck. I sent in a request around 8am and had someone by 10am from a plumbing company at our house. 2 hours to get someone here makes me very happy. We have small children and the toilet is always in use!
The issue was solved. But the best part was how Aapex handled it and got us the help we needed. They are always great with maintenance requests.

Aapex Property Management has been really great for us. From when we first came to view an apartment we were interested to the present, 7 months after we settled in, Aapex has been impressive. They have been professional, courteous and respond quickly to tenant needs and the apartment we live in is priced fair enough. (The housing market is ridiculous in the SF Bay Area and so finding somewhere that is affordable and safe can be trying!)
I can say we are really pleased that we live here and are glad that we have a solid management company that responds so well. I recommend!
