Medicare will cover a limited amount of home health care services as an alternative to entering a nursing home when certain criteria are met. A home health agency must be Medicare certified, and a doctor must decide whether or not home care is needed. Medicare does not cover custodial care (non-nursing personal care) unless it is needed in combination with skilled nursing care for the recovery or rehabilitation of a short-term illness.

Nurse Rimma out of boca raton office came this morning to visit for care for my grandmother. She was kind of rude and condescending. I tried to read paperwork she needed signed and she said to not read it as i wouldn't understand. (implying i was stupid). The appropriate response should have been-please lmk if you have any questions as you are reading it. Her primary care doctor was also in the home and the nurse felt the need to rush my aunt to come sign paperwork even though she clearly engaged and speaking her with doctor. There was no compassion or patience on her behalf. reason i didnt throw
