Avenue Auto Body was established in 1988 in Gardena, and now operates in Redondo Beach. We provide Auto Body Shop and Collision Repair services to Redondo Beach, Torrance, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Lomita, Hawthorne, Gardena, Lawndale and Palos Verdes. Owner-operator Steve Hornbeck has over 30 years experience in the collision repair industry.
He learned about the industry from his father and now his son, Brian, is working at the shop and learning the industry as well. Steve is at our facility 5-6 days per week and is personally involved in the repair process of all vehicles. Shop manager, Troy Howell, also has over 20 years experience. Avenue Auto Body takes pride in doing high quality repair work and is dedicated to achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Services
Avenue Auto Body is located in Redondo Beach and our facility is nearly 25,000 square feet. We have a customer lounge for those repairs that can be done while you wait. We maintain high tech equipment, such as our Genesis laser frame measuring system and Chief frame machines. Our recently renovated, state-of-the art spray booth meets all AQMD and EPA guidelines.
Avenue Auto Body specializes in automotive collision repair. We work on all makes and models and our repair work is guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle. Our courteous and knowledgeable staff will assist you in the insurance claims process to ensure that your vehicle's repairs are done to the highest quality standards and as promptly as possible.

I had to fix some minor dents and scratches to my Infiniti. Excellent customer service from the initial phone call to make the reservation all the way to getting my keys back. Brian and his team not only fixed the car up beautifully, but also gave the car a clean!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone-- Very professional and great quality. Also, if you need a rental while your car is being fixed, they also work with a nearby Hertz which they can help arrange. You can also leave your vehicle here for Hertz to pick up (just make sure it won't add days to your rental- or they can always drop

I brought may car for body work and my experience was EXCELLENT!
o There were no additional charges once the work was begun
o They removed dents from my trunk lid at no cost
o They has a crack rim inspected at no cost
o They checked for loose plastic under the engine and installed fasteners at no cost.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. I brought my car to Avenue Auto Body, following a neighbor's recommendation, to repaint my front bumper and repair rust damage to my car's quarter panel. Henry, the shop's manager assured me my car would look like new again after his staff completed their repair work, but he cautioned me the rust damage was not covered under warranty. Scott Robinson Chrysler sent me to Avenue for a warranty paint repair and Avenue did a superb job on the fix. Some months later when I needed another minor repair after a surprise encounter with a plastic traffic control stanchion, I went back for an estimate. The cost for the repair came in far below what I expected. Avenue ordered the parts and completed the repair in short order. A good honest body shop is a beautiful thing.

First time I had a vehicle repaired at Avenue there was guy named Henry that did amazing work, he had excellent customer service skills and went above and beyond to make sure the customer was happy.
I was so pleased with my experience I gave State Farm tremendous feedback and it seemed as though StateFarm upgraded Avenue Autobody on their suggestion list of service centers.

I backed my A-6 into my daughter's Elantra. Double ouch! Back to Israel at Avenue Auto Body, on The Avenue in Ventura. Both cars done in timely fashion, at a reasonable price. My wife not happy with husband's driving, but IMPRESSED with the work: Both cars looked BETTER than prior to the collision. I would like to say I will never be back, but if I need auto body work....

I will give them no star if I could. I took my car in for repair from an accident, they took forever to get it fixed. Kept giving different dates for pick up and when I finally got it from them. My car lighting had problem, I called to inform them about this new issues and I was told “it’s because it’s a older car and things will start to fall apart,” one of the guys told me it was a sensor on my door that made the car seat belt sound not go off when I don’t have my seat belt on. Having had a great repair of my little Focus SVT some years ago, form a rear end collision, I once again needed a good body shop.
The first place I thought of was Avenue Auto Body. I had unfortunately myself rear end a car, after they suddenly stopped for no apparent reason on a freeway off ramp.
The results on my car this time, were even better than before (on the SVT). The replacement and repaired parts fit and the paint are exceptional, with the colour match being so good, you'd not be able to see that any part was new paint. It's exceptional.

I chose this place to take good care of my 1995 Toyota Camry because of of the good references. I will never recommend this place to anyone because they don't care apparently what the customer is requesting...I was really disappointed the first time, then when I took it back , Troy said to me " we will expedite and have this taken care of"... it was not and I'm still not satisfied with their performance... everything I pointed out to him was totally missed and I'm back to square one ... don't ever take your vehicle there, unless you just want a half assed job done

I wouldn't recommend this body shop. They seem nice and confident when you first come in. However once they got my car they changed attitude.
Bottom line is, nothing was done as they promised. They seemed too busy to remember what they wrote down when they first met you. Other people seemed to have good experiences here, but not me.
1. I got my rear bumper fixed. They tried twice to match the color, but it's still off. I appreciated their efforts but result isn't what I expected.
2. Estimated time was 2-3 days, they kept it for more than 7 business days. First time, they called

This shop is 100% amazing. I needed to get some paint buffed out for a lease return inspection in a hurry. Called same day, and Steve said to bring it by. I showed up and Ryan and his colleague immediately took care of it at no charge and just asked to keep them in mind if I ever got in an accident or needed body work. THAT is how you create Life Time Value for customers, and why these perfect 5 star reviews are completely deserved.

Avenue auto body is the best in the bizz! I was in an auto accident and had my car repaired here, they made the whole process a breeze and my car looks great! They pay so much attention to detail and make you feel like you've been a customer for years. I also had some damage to my front bumper unrelated to my accident and they were able to fix it up for free.

My husband went there today after going to Prestige Auto Body shop to fix the bumper after brushing hard against some plant bushes in our driveway (Prestige quoted $850)...Avenue fixed it in 10 minutes and no charge! They did his Vette prior to selling it also ...good price on that one too!

The person I worked with here was excellent. The car was repaired to like new condition and Troy navigated all of this issues I was having with the insurance company fluidly.
They may not look like much when you pull in but their work is superb, their customer service is outstanding, and my customer experience rivals any top Fortune 500 company's.
