Please steer clear of this place. I came here last Monday to get SNS manicure, and it was the absolute worst SNS job I've ever had, and I am definitely not exaggerating. My nails started chipping 2 days later! Had I not gone out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday, I would have immediately went back. Now, I just will never return back to this location for any type of service. Then the audacity to hassle me to tip in cash when I wanted to put it on my bank card. They did not even deserve $1. To make matters worse, it took them forever to do this crappy job! A complete waste of my time and

Do not go to this salon. The manicure was rushed and of poor quality. I am expecting it to chip before the end of the week. In addition, I was upcharged and notified at the end. When I asked about it I received a dismissive response and was instructed to sign because that is the service that was given.

*** update nails chipped within 3 days***

I was hesitant to go here because of the bad yelp rating but I am so glad I did. A very reasonably priced salon, staff super friendly and my pedicure was great. Also they offer massages for a dollar a minute which is a lot cheaper than most places around here. I will go back for sure. Also - very clean and very friendly staff.

Went a few days ago to get a gel removal and manicure. When the woman started removing my gels she kept asking me where I got them and what type of gel it was (I got it outside of the city and I have no idea what type of gel it was) because it was hard for her to get off. After only letting it soak for a few minutes, she handed me off to her colleague who started filing my nails so hard that she literally cut my nail open so that my skin was starting to show through. She only stopped when I told her she was hurting me. The previous woman then used the machine to remove my gel and she did repair

Yesterday was my second time at Yaya. My first time there was not great, nothing to write home about. So I decided to try it out again in hopes that I would have a better experience. I can say with confidence that it will be the last time I give money to this business.

When I walked into the salon, I was quickly seated. Lets just say as quickly as I sat down, my manicure was over. The nail technician rushed through my gel manicure. She scrapped off my gel nail when I clearly did not soak for enough time. She failed to take off all of the gel polish from my previous gel manicure, even after I

Came here yesterday to get a manicure right before work... the price is very affordable for neighborhood and service was great. The colors they have are unique and cute. Manicurist made sure I left with dry nails and on time for work by applying quick dry polish for an extra dollar. FYI: They accept card payments for amount $20+. Anything below is cash; however, they have an ATM. Thank you Yaya nails! Will be back soon.

I'm not really sure how to rate this establishment because I have mixed feelings. I'm manicure looks ~okay~ not the best and not the worst. I was caught off guard when checking out I left a 18% tip because I wasn't absolutely thrilled with my experience. The lady checking me out literally said no to the money I handed her and said "you tip 20%" "give me $10" this was honestly just awkward and uncomfortable for me. Not entirely sure if it's a normal thing for this type of service but I was confused by her attitude.

This was maybe one of the worst experiences I've ever had when getting a mani pedi. The actual quality of my manicure/ pedicure was awful. All my nails are different lengths and shapes. In addition, the paint was stuck on my skin and was very messy. Worst of all, I got a gel manicure and when my cuticles were being cut, i was left bleeding. The manicurist then kept touching it throughout my manicure which made it continue to bleed. The blood went into my gel manicure leaving the white nail I requested discolored and looking beyond gross. I was left walking out of the nail salon with a napkin

I got a mani-pedi. The ladies are quick, professional, and do a great job. My nails are shiny and beautiful! The studio is clean and well kept. Definitely going back!

Honestly just not a good manicure. My nails are totally uneven, the polish isn't even, my cuticles weren't cut properly and the tools they used weren't the cleanest. Definitely wanted this to be better than it was.

Awful. Wish I would have seen these reviews. DO NOT GO HERE - I came in at 7pm on a Friday night (they close at 8). They were happy to take me as a walk in but then began to close unceremoniously around me as I got my nails done, including asking me to move my seat so they could sweep around me. Terrible experience and then my nails began chipping within days, as well as being unevenly applied, and slight discoloration. Are they cleaning their tools? I didn't notice. I came in to ask for a refund but was denied and offered a re-do. Obviously I did not take that offer. BEWARE.

This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to in NYC.
The woman cut my cuticles wrong and filed way too short, even though I asked her not to.
Further, the painting was really uneven on both sides and a couple days later, most of the polish was chipping so I just removed the color.
Had a 20 dollar credit card policy. I didn't have cash at the time, so the lady forced me to leave an 8 dollar tip for a 16 dollar manicure and scolded me to bring cash next time. So unprofessional.
Never coming back here.

I wish i read the reviews before i came to the worst nail salon I've ever been to!! They cut your cuticles with dirty scissors, they don't put ur fingers in water before, they don't disinfect anything, my nails look sloppy and i still left a $3 dollar tip which they complained about. I'm actually shocked. There are so many more things i could complain about, but it will just get me more upset.

Should be called NONO not on my nails. Had anyone said that yet?

Don't waste your time.. the technical cut into my cuticles on multiple fingers causing me to bleed. Sorry to whomever came after me because I highly doubt the tools were sterilized.

I feel like a 2 year old would be better at coloring in between the lines vs someone trained in cosmetology. Not worth $37 for gel manicure.

Hope it lasts a minimum of one week and that $37 will be a lesson learned- NONO to yaya nails!

The place was not impressive and was a large open room with manicure seats on the left, pedicures on the right and massage chairs in a line down the middle. The place looks a bit older than the photos on the roll here, with a lot of clutter behind the tables, etc. I guess the many manicure places in NYC don't look so vast and tired because it's just the norm to get your nails done regularly and not so much of an experience and pamper I usually get myself as a treat. This place was lacking some glam and music.

A couple of friends and I went for manicures. We were asked to choose our colour

Wow wow wow, not only are the tools old and rusty,
But they charged me an extra 22 dollars for a massage on my pedi without any indication of them charging for a stupid service like that. My grandmother gives better messages.

SHAME ON THE BUSINESS OWNERs and OPERATORS.

I just never felt so disrespected. So disgusted. So taking advantage of, so I was walking by this nail shop while me and my friends were looking for somewhere to get a mani and pedi. So decided to give this place a try even though their reviews weren't all that breath. I am a tourist from California so when it was time
