I have live in NYC for 7 years and have not found a nail salon as consistently good in value and quality as Soho Nails. I will travel 30 minutes on the subway for a pedicure. I recommend this spot to everyone!

Love this place! Conveniently located, decently priced and they do an amazing job! I've gotten acrylics done by them and the gel pedicure, they pay close attention to detail and give it the time it deserves. Definitely make sure to book an appointment as they can get busy but they move quickly. So happy I found this place!

Came here while running errands in the city before heading to a wedding. Let’s just say, I definitely won’t be back. Gel manicure chipped off within 3 days. I’ve had gel last a minimum of 2 weeks from other salons. On top of that, my toe nails were cut to close to the skin. My toe was swollen & in a lot of pain the next day. Not cute a vibe…

Nope! I got a fill-in (they used dip powder)... If you need a fill-in DO NOT come here, just abort mission, and if you're desperate, order some stuff off Amazon and do it yourself.
This place might be okay for pedicures and gel manicures which is what the other people were getting....that alone should have been a sign sigh.
The most remarkable thing about this experience was that they don't have any drills... not the portable ones, not the old school ones, none at all... which means that the nail tech did a whole fill in with one nail file... ONE! Surely they have money to purchase

One of the best nail salons downtown happens to be up 3 floors on West Broadway. Friendly, precise and always willing to take walk ins and last minute appointments.
Interior is no frills but feels very New York and is clean. There are a ton of press clippings on the walls so you know it's good. (Also fun to look at while getting your mani!)
I had Andrea this time and she was FAB!

I had a gel powder manicure there. Worst gel powder manicure I ever had! I saw right away that the girl did not know how to do the gel powder manicure. It's only 10 days, most of my nails fell off and some are 1/2 off. My gel powder manicures usually last 3-4 weeks and I only end up doing it again because it's outgrown not because it peels off! And the nerve of the person that answered the phone there when I called to complain. She told me that gel powder manicures only last for 10 days! Bull sh..!! That's in your place if you don't know what you are doing!!!!

My sister and I went here after making an appointment last minute and we got ripped off. We went there for a spa hand treatment and tips with a usual manicure and the everything was great until I had to get my nail art design on my thumb. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted, which was a tunnel of hearts and it was not worth the price at all. It was poorly done and I do not blame the lady, I blame the lack of equipment they had. Dorma just set my toes off, this technician knew I was very ticklish and kindly applied pressure to my feet quickly and got the job done. The service is great as well; very flexible schedule and can work with you if you can't make it on time. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed yet since I've been coming here since 2016.

They do a job and service not related to what they actually charge. Too expensive based on the location only, and at the same time you have to climb 2 floors.
Very poor communication. They also ask you to use ATM machine inside the salon to give them cash tip. A greedy way from the owner. Even though they accept credit card payment.

Looked down at my hands in a drugstore and went "oh my god I need saving" and I went on yelp, typed in nail salon, I was an 11 minute walk from SoHo nails. I called, asked if they could take me, I knew the time was late. They said yes! I came, they were lovely, everyone was talking to me and I had so much fun. Scheduled a follow up for next month! It's a yellow base with a fun pink and white confetti top coat. They thought it was adorable and loved doing my tiny, gross nails. Couldn't be happier!

I want to start by saying, I never ever write reviews. But this particular place was so bad, that I needed to warn everyone.
I went to this particular nail salon because it was near my job and I need a fill in a pinch for an event I was going to. I had a little trouble finding it, but eventually made it. The entire process was fine. I don't recall the tech's name, however she was an older woman who took close to an hour and a half to do my fill. I didn't rush her, because I expected that at least it would look good.
I was in a rush to get back to work, so when I saw a few problems

The prices are reasonable, regular pedi for $22. French gel manicure is $35. The girls are all very nice, I've had some technicians that are better than others but overall each time has been a decent job.
I did have a problem with my French gel chipping quickly last time and that caused a few of my nails to break, they said they would fix the chip for free but since my nail broke they have to use the silk wraps which are $6 per nail, and one of those ended up chipping the next day, so that was a little disappointing. I got them redone completely yesterday so hopefully it holds up better
