Bear dentist Kelly Walker DDS strives to deliver the highest quality care in a gentle and caring environment. It is our goal to develop a lasting partnership with each of our patients in order to achieve and maintain optimum dental health. Prevention and Cleanings - our goal is to prevent gum disease and detect dental problems in the earliest stages when they are easily treated.
Dr. Walker and her staff's main focus is prevention but if treatment is required there are a number of different options for treating any problems that arise. We provide non-surgical care for the treatment of periodontal disease, which consists of scaling and root planning (Deep cleaning) along with the placement of medicaments below the gum.
Dr. Kelly Walker is originally from Salisbury, MD. She graduated from Salisbury University with a major in biology and minor in Chemistry. Upon receiving her doctorate of dental surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Maryland in 1993, Dr. Walker completed a general practice residency at Christina Care Hospital in Wilmington.

In our Delaware dental office, we believe that preventative dental care is the foundation for optimum dental health. Our goal is to prevent disease and detect problems in the early stages when they are most easily treated. Teeth/Dental Cleanings: we recommend that our patients visit us for dental cleanings twice each year.

Appointment time is promptly kept and much appreciated. Clean, friendly waiting area and the reception person greets you immediately. Hygienist always listen to any concerns and answers any questions about dental care honestly and lets me know exactly what she is doing at all times. Dr. Walker does the same and doesn't try to oversell (as some of my previous dentists did.) Everyone at Kelly Walker Dentistry cares about my dental health and I always feel comfortable there.

As always, my appointment was not only on time but Dr. Walker took me in twenty minutes ahead of schedule. Everything went so smoothly and everyone so is so professional and caring. Dr Walker was recommended to me by someone I met who happens to be in the healthcare industry. They were able to see me in a timely manner and Dr took her time in helping me try to figure out the source of my jaw pain, she was caring, knowedgeable and professional.
