This one's of the best place for eating seafood I love this place real good mexican sinaloense food. My grandparents lived in Plaisance, LA and the gumbo from here is the closest I've had from any restaurant in Texas to taste like my grandma's. Eating the gumbo from Thibodeaux's brought back so many memories of my childhood.

The first time I visited this location my daughter found hair in her food, Decided it was a fluke and returned for a second time and my clean delivered fork had dried rice in it and it wasn't clean... I try to be fair but I will not be returning to eat here again. The staff make you feel very welcome and like family the service is amazing but the 2 issues I had put my visit to this establishment at a stand still. We as a family will not be returning. Maybe you'll have a better experience, let my know how it was for you.

Exactly what I'd hoped for, as our first meal out during our little vacation. Excellent, authentic, spicy-good cajun food. Papi was our server and he was very funny and kind. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was simple, and comfortably charming. If I lived in Baytown, I would definitely be a frequent customer. Thanks for the great food and southern hospitality! The seafood gumbo was definitely high quality soul food!!

Oh man where do I begin!! I was so surprised on how great the food was. So freshly made and the service is excellent. There was no long wait, i ordered drinks Appetizer and a platter and they came out at the right time. I am definitely coming back and then the cracklings? They were super delicious and I’m picky with my cracklings thank you guys for all the excellent service I can’t wait for the next plate.

Chicken and Sausage Gumbo was good had to add a little salt. The fried boudin ball was amazing crispy on the outside and soft inside. The boudin egg roll I've never tried-anywhere before, was different but not bad. The boudin links were good was told they make all the boudin and gumbos from scratch. The food is not very spicy I was expecting a little cajan heat. Overall was very please the service with this BYOB style restaurant.

The food here was recommended by a friend and let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. The seafood gumbo was very delicious and left me more than satisfied. The service here was also excellent the two workers the lady and a man were very kind. My friend had the boudin plate and she was also more than happy with her food. Definitely plan on coming back and recommend anyone else to try it if you’re in the mood for Cajun.

My wife and I visited Thibodeaux's Cajun Food last Friday while in Houston to see the Chicago White Sox get trounced by the Astros the 18th and 19th(maybe the Astros have figured out a new way to cheat and win...sorry Houston...not sorry...#HTXoncecheatersalwayscheaters). We had time to waste before checking into our hotel and I'd seen the reviews prior so made the trek to Baytown. We arrived to Baytown and were looking for somewhere to eat. We are so happy we chose Thibodeaux's. The place is modest, the service wonderful , the food was amazing. We had the shrimp etoufee, chicken/sausage gumbo and boudin egg rolls. The owner was friendly, kind, welcoming. We definitely recommend trying this great spot for Cajun/creole food, the spices/flavor are no joke. I never write reviews but they deserve this one.

I had smoked a fat joint and gone to get my dreads fixed. I passed this establishment on the way. 2 hours later feeling the munchies from the aforementioned joint iv walked on down here. The proprietor met me at the counter and explaining what was on the menu i ordered the plate/sampler. Awesome!! I’m so full I’m have to smoke another joint just to eat dinner! Very friendly service, I highly recommend this place for a food feed!

What an amazing place! We were passing through and decides on Thibodaux's based on positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. Had a boddin link and chicken sausage gumbo. Wish I had room for several more courses. The flavor and texture and spice was just perfect. Will be reminiscing about this meal for a long time. First, let me correct the things YELP has wrong.
1. The phone number is 281-420-7447
2.they do not close at 8pm (open till 10)
3. Their menu does not consist of cuban sandwiches
4. They are not cash only
This place has been around for a lot of years, it was deli style and take out only. I tried the boudin snd gumbo when I moved to Baytown in 2003, and found them pretty good, but the place was nasty!!! Clutter everywhere, grease and dust caked to every visible surface. It grossed me out so I didn't go back.
Then recently I noticed cars there at night and cosmetic changes to the outside of

Here is complete honesty for you. As someone who doesn’t live in Baytown and doesn’t regularly visit, we found this place on a whim simply because of these reviews. We pulled up and were reluctant to even go in because this place is in a building of a vacant parking lot. But I am SOO glad that we did! We were greeted with a friendly face, who made us feel completely at home! We order the oxtail (oh my word!!!! This place is unbelievable! I can't believe this hidden jewel is tucked away in Baytown.
The guys greet you when you walk in. They are so friendly and down to earth. This is one of the best places that I've ever been to with the food ssoooo tasty. Cajun, creole, and whatever, it doesn't matter, they can do it!
The dirty rice is like someone's grandmother's from Louisiana! The seafood gumbo was the bomb! The fried boudin egg rolls were the best ever!

Well, we came across this restaurant in the most unlikely of circumstances . Something shattered a window in our van . So we had to stop to get our window relaxed and I was hungry and we had time to kill. So I did what I know best, I went to Yelp. And Thibodeaux's popped up . I called , and the gentleman answered and took my order over the phone . I ordered Shrimp Etouffe , and the wife got a fried red fish with potato salad and mustard greens. I also ordered a side of boudin balls to try for the first time .

This is a small unique place that sells out early. I'm no Baytown expert, but it looks to be an old meat market. Some of the old equipment is still present and the ones that work are still being used.
I came at 12 on a Tuesday thinking they had the full menu available, and ending up getting the last lunch special for the day, smothered beef steak. It came with gravy, red beans and rice, green beans and cornbread. I also added 2 links of smoked boudin.
Drinks are located in an igloo on the floor and consist of either canned or bottled drinks.
