This is by FAR my absolute favorite place in or near Crosby. The food is 5star quality, all freshly prepared by the amazing Chef (Chef Karen) that , I believe is half owner. She is a world class chef that has chosen to grace our little community with a menu fit for the finest palette. She makes something as common as meatloaf , a gourmet dish. Even the chicken salad would not be out of place in Tiffany's tea room. Everything is made fresh , including the fabulous honey vinaigrette dressing made in house. Save room for the beignets bread pudding that makes New Orleans jealous. Combine all

Tried several different things at Our House Texas and the seafood tasted old snd very strong tasting. Told the waitress and she went and brought back management to talk with us and asked us again to explain what was wrong with the food. We felt like they were trying to call us liars and did not believe us. They definitely don’t know what customer service is because the way they treated us showed it! Will never go back there again!

First time to try this restaurant. Noon Wednesday. I had today's special, Shepard's Pie and a side salad. Portion size was just right for me .. not a heavy eater. The salad was fresh and made with a mix of greens, (which is a plus for me ) and included the usual toppings. The Shepard's Pie was served HOT .. another big plus to me, and was delicious. My waitress was sweet and attentive. I will surely return to taste more of their offerings.

I'm originally from New Orleans and this is the best food I have ate since moving here in 08, Chef Karen is AWESOME, she is very passionate about her cooking so that let's you know she is a Outstanding Chef, staff was so friendly, warm friendly atmosphere. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND and I will be a regular customer for SURE.

What a surprise!!! Hidden by the overhead in Crosby this little restaurant deserves a BIG Texas applause! If you haven't found it yet, you don't know what you are missing! Four of us went for lunch...and could not have been more surprised. A laid back atmosphere...great ambience...great food...and great chef, servers, and bus staff. I had to have some of the gumbo to begin...and it was delicious! Seeing that meatloaf was on the menu...and being a meatloaf connoisseur... I always try the meatloaf. Some of the best food we've found locally. One of those unique restaurants that has a chef that has actual first hand mentor ship by Paul Prudhomme of K-Paul's in New Orleans. The BTHBurger is huge, loaded with cheese, a fried egg, chips, etc., with a chunk of grilled meat. Best yet, reminds you of Port-a-Call's burgers with extras in New Orleans. Thursday's special is a Jack Daniels sauce meatloaf with twice baked taters and sautéed green beans. My husband and I shared a whiskey sauce bread pudding desert that was to drool for. What a great way to spend time with our family! Feels-like-home decor with restaurant quality dishes. We ordered the award-winning Texas Shine and Hotter Than Bleu Blazes burgers, mouth-watering bourbon-glazed steak, rich and creamy shrimp etouffee. What a great relaxing environment with great food that doesn't break the bank. We'll be regulars!
