Oakland is a major city of California located directly across from San Francisco. Oakland is home to one of the major ports in the United States; in addition, many tech companies and hospitals can be found in this East Bay city. There is plenty to do while visiting Oakland from spending a day at a museum, looking at the various animals at the Oakland Zoo, or taking in a concert at the Oakland Symphony.

The good: the rooms appear to be freshly renovated. Everything was clean, and comfortable. AC , tv, fridge, and hair dryer were all in working order. The BART public transport to the city was a 12 min walk away. The best Korean bbq was located down the street along the way. There's a 7/11 around the corner. I felt safe walking the area during the day and night. Parking is First Come First Serve, and I had camping equipment in my car the whole week I was here. Never worried as the lot is pretty safe. There is also paid street parking if the lot runs out of parking spots. In general, the location
