Ours was an overnight stay, attended a nearby concert.
Facility is very well-kept and maintained, and enjoyed the historic area and the building itself. We will certainly stay here again, and next time also plan for a longer stay to allow for some time to relax in the first-floor library and the grounds, as well as a long walk on Summit Ave looking at the history of the area.
There is no "check-in" desk or on-site staff, but the emailed instructions were very clear and we had no problems at all.
My 5-star rating on the service is based on the very clean and well-kept room, and a very pleasant

Booked a room here for my wife’s birthday. She used to live in Saint Paul and we would frequently walk around the Cathedral Hill neighborhood. We were blown away by the space! Excellent features, large rooms, cool library, and a great view of the river valley from the jacuzzi tub. We want to come back in the winter just to try out the heated floors by the tub. Hidden gem in one of the coolest areas in MN.

The Davidson House was incredible from the rooms to the setting I would recommend this Hotel to anyone!! This was our pre-wedding get away/stay with a few key other individuals from our wedding party and it completely exceeded our expectations. Not to mention that we had to change our wedding date four times in the last year and a half they were wonderfully accommodating to the changes. Looking forward to staying there again in the future. Cheers to the Davidson House.

This is a hidden gem in St. Paul. If you've ever wondered what it's like to see the view from a Mansion on the Selby hill this is your chance. I can't believe it was so cheap to stay here. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable the room was nicely appointed. Everything you need and nothing you don't. I really enjoyed the garden area. Enjoyed and evening bottle of wine with a cheesecake from Cafe Latte. I will be staying here every time I come back to visit St. Paul.

Customer service really stands out here at this historic hotel. Beautiful, clean, and centrally located, we will be back! Would love to see a patio buildout on the grassy area with some outdoor living furniture. The only pieces of critique to add would be for the suite we stayed in (101) to fix the doors leading out to the balcony and build out the kitchen a bit more like the rest of the rooms. Thank you Kelli for going above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one!

This place went beyond my expectations. It’s the best room we’ve ever stayed in and I’ve paid more for a room before in a big city. Absolutely stunning architecture and decor. No staff around was honestly great if you like to not be bothered. We stayed in room 202 which had a gorgeous jacuzzi tub. So relaxing. Small kitchenette tucked away with fridge, microwave sink, plates and utensils. After walking the mall of America it was the best place to put our feet up. I will be back here someday.

We spent Christmas in Room 204 and it was truly a home away from home. With separate living room, bedroom, bathroom, shower and kitchenette areas, it was spacious, warm and inviting. Lots of windows with unobstructed views of the city, yet set in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. It was a beautiful, historic home with incredible architectural details. Modern updates in the bathroom and kitchen blended superbly with its historic features. Loved having the Keurig with a sampling of coffees and teas, and the kitchenette had all of the necessities (fridge, microwave, flatware, plates, mugs
