Originally founded in 1994, Fishing Creek Veterinary Clinic has been providing high quality veterinary care to cats, dogs, and pocket pets in and around Stillwater for over 25 years. Our veterinarians use the most up-to-date information and technology to create custom treatment plans that are just as unique as each of their patients.
Fishing Creek Veterinary Clinic opened its doors in 1994, just north of the small town of Benton, Pennsylvania. The clinic was owned and operated by John A. Shonis. In 2007 the small vet office was relocated to a much larger facility nearby in Stillwater, PA where we continue to grow and provide quality preventative medicine, medical care, and surgery at an affordable price.

Took my 3 dogs there for years. Have one dog left and she is older and sick now CHF. Needed lasix wouldn't renew prescription without seeing her again. I said I could bring her down anytime they needed and they flatly refused to get her in, said I should find another v we t or take her to Er hospital. Said not an emergency. They wouldn't take her. So I had to find another vet that was accepting new patients. Found a good one. Thanks.

Berwick office was closed temporarily and I was told I had to drive almost an hour to Benton. OK. I called to let them know I had arrived.
I was a little early. Appointment was for 11am but they did not even come out until 17 min after 11. They asked me what brand of food I feed my dog???? Not how much? I come to find out they sell dog food. They kept adding services even though he was there for a wellness check and his shots. He was supposed to get his Kennel cough shot as well and they forgot that - I had to remind them. They hurt my dog trimming his nails. He was so scared he was trying to

Critical: Professionalism, Reliability
I have going to the Berwick office and sometimes to Benton for about 15 years. Got a new puppy that needs her booster shots. Called for an appointment and they wouldn’t give me one. Said they weren’t doing annual checkups. All I wanted was the booster shot but no dice. Will never go there again and will tell everyone about this.

Had to take my dog for refill on him pain meds and just a wellness checkup.. everything was fine..even the tech answered my questions..only thing was my appt was for 10 am by phone 2 weeks prior..but when I got there and called to let them know I was outside, they said appt was for next day ..But after explaining that I made it for this day cause I was going away the next day..they did get me in..which I was happy about
