Cottage Pharmacy and Surgical supply really helped my son and me on New Years Eve. They were able to send a hospital bed and a wheel chair to my son's home within 3 hours. The rehabilitation center and insurance company started the process 4 days earlier and failed. My son was in the rehabilitation center for 6 weeks and still needs to be non weight bearing for 6 more weeks. But can do that at home with the right equipment. Thank you Christine and Cottage.

They were supposed to pick up a hospital bed that was provided by a hospice facility, but never showed up or called.
Weeks later, my mom was scheduled to come home from a skilled nursing facility, and all of a sudden, I get a call from a person who works here saying that they're coming to pick up the hospital bed, the same day my mom was coming home.
The person I spoke with from this pharmacy had a terrible personality, and showed no sympathy or ways of trying to make this a more logistic friendly transfer for my mother.
He abruptly said something to the effect that wer're coming

My family has been going here for over 20 years, and my mom gets all her prescriptions from them. Every employee is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and kind. They treat my mom like family and when she can't pick up her scripts they deliver them to her doorstep. Don't let the name fool you, they are much more than just a pharmacy. They have great trendy clothes/bags at reasonable prices and very unique gifts and jewelry. browsing around the store is always fun and no high pressure sales people. Every town should have a unique little store like this - forget the big chains!!! Shop

Terrible experience..!!! One star is too much in comparison to the nasty , and rude experience I had in this store. After my husband had a painful and difficult surgery , I went to this pharmacy looking for a suspensory; my husband had spoken to the salesperson and explained to him what he needed; for obvious reasons, he could not go since he was in recovery, so I went; the person very Clearly told me that if the item he gave me did not work, I could return it. I have been a very loyal customer of Cottage Pharmacy or over 10 years. I shop in the boutique as well. I’ve never had any issues with them until maybe a year ago with a pharmacist and then again last week again with a Pharmacist. I don’t know who this woman was but she was extremely rude and out of line. If there is a problem of some sort with a prescription or if you have to discuss something with the patient then a simple excuse me will do. Pull me to the side and treat me with respect. Don’t yell at me in-front of other customers. It was really uncalled for. This was an American woman

I'm only giving one star for the professionalism of the young woman in the surgical supply section. I brought my Mom there yesterday as she needed compression stockings and Cottage was recommended by her physician. When we arrived there I went into the store first to make sure they could wait on her as my Mother uses a wheelchair when she's out. One of their vans was parked blocking one of the handicapped spots and the ramp. There was another van with no placard blocking the other spot. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if the van could be moved. He yells over to this other guy

This review is for the surgical supply section of Cottage Pharmacy.
I walked up to the surgical supply counter. There was a man/employee behind the counter. I was the only customer there. The man looked up and asked "what's up?", NOT "hi, can I help you?", or "what can I do for you?". No smile, no welcome, just "what's up?" There was a female employee sitting at the desk, so she heard the interaction.
I told him what I was looking for and he led me to one item that was on the shelf, but didn't bother to ask me any questions to assess if the

If I could give no stars I would ... the only thing they have going for them is Evelyn ... must be new owners because they can't seem to get anything right ...they filled a prescription thru insurance and I ended up paying full price one month ... they seem to have lost the concept of customer good will ... especially in a neighborhood like this ... I purposely don't use mail order because I like to support my local merchants but at what price do I continue to have issues ... never had a single issue with previous owners ...been Bach many times since this review it is now January 2020

As a long time customer, I was extremely shocked at the lack of customer service and horrible attitude of the management and staff. My daughter purchased 3 items for hair care. A few hours later we went to a local hair salon and saw the same 3 products for $30 less. I called Cottage twice with no reply after leaving messages. I finally spoke with the manager and asked for a price adjustment for my daughter (who is 14 and used her own gift certificate to pay for the 3 items).. She said “ it’s your choice to shop here, so if you don’t like it, don’t shop here anymore!!” I will not shop

We have been customers of Cottage for over 35 years - new owners are now operating the pharmacy. We had a house account with a Credit Card on file and we started getting statements saying we owed $340.00 without backup. I spoke with them several times about this and they claimed they changed accounting systems and to ignore the statements. We were in the store a few weeks ago and the owner ran our current card for a small charge and then claimed the charge did not go through so could they re-swipe? She then ran the card through charging an additional and separate $340.00 without authorization

Cottage Pharmacy and surgical counts with a wonderful stock, you can find everything here!. However, if they don’t carry what you are looking for, they tried to order it, and, if they can’t order it, then, they will help you with references of places that may help you.

Had been going here for years till they refused to fill my birth control without a special order fee. The counter staff are rude and the pharmacist had the audacity to demand I come in for at least 5 months in a row to even order the birthday control I had to pay to special order will not be coming back.

If I could, I would give this pharmacy 0 stars. The customer service is awful. I was a customer for many years and the pharmacist tried to deny filling my prescription with no just cause. Only after she spoke with my doctor, was it filled, however, the pharmacist's attitude escalated. I felt disgusted over how I was treated and I am glad I never went back. Take a look at NY State disciplinary website. On January 12th 2016, the pharmacy admitted to selling outdated and misbranded drugs, also, they had no hot water. This is not the first infraction they have had.

We stopped using this pharmacy 15 years ago when we moved into the neighborhood because of attitudes and the unwillingness to help.
Last week my elderly mother needed emergency oxygen so out of convenience and desperation we went back to this establishment. We quickly found out that zebra's don't change their stripes.
The machine they rented us did not work at all... after three or four phone calls I was told to bring the machine back for a full $200 credit which by the way was the cost for this machine for one week. I subsequently found out they rented the machine without a prescription

I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful and compassionate group of pharmacy professionals in the neighborhood!
I initially stopped in and a gentleman assisted me with reassurance of quality and competitive pricing.
The manager Christine followed up the next day (as the supply customer service person reported she would) and answered all of my questions, comments, and concerns.
They had it ready upon call and their pricing is very competitive.
I respectfully recommend this pharmacy as the care, compassion, honesty and genuineness was obvious. Its like back "back home" in

Cottage pharmacy is a really nice pharmacy store boutique I have picked up prescriptions there and many other items - they have a huge front section with designer perfumes, cards and some really high end hair care/ make up its a really cute little store in Woodbury behind White House black market store, I tend to spend more money here than at a typical regular pharmacy store but it's only because they offer a wide array of items - if I'm in the area I usually stop by if I need something from there I would give 5 stars but I did minus 1 for the higher prices

This is a cool non generic pharmacy with plenty of help and a non CVS vibe. They have rows of non pharmacy items and can be a last minute quick gift shop (as they have been a few emergency times) for some light items like nice picture frames, a perfume gift set.. etc.
