At my time of extreme Grief, the staff handled not only me with loving care, but also made sure the arrangements were handle Exactly as I wanted them to be handled. That was very important to me, for my Husband’s final wishes to be respected and they certainly were. I can’t thank you enough Jan, & T for the kindness you showed for me at that time and even after. Me and my wife sadly lost our newborn son today. I got to speak with a gentleman named Jan. He was incredibly professional. His mannerism and attention to detail gave me some time to focus on something other than the grief I felt. I'm heartbroken in ways I cant begin to describe and wont ever be able to, and I am so very grateful for the time these kind people took to give us a little bit of help. They are incredible.

Dewitt Memorial has has handled the arrangements with the passing of my sister from Covid. It was an especially difficult set of circumstances. Jan Maloff and two people from his staff (thank you Maggie) were professional, helpful, honest, detailed, and patient. Every detail was described to level that I needed. They were absolutely ready to give me more of their time, yet they were ready to moved to the next detail and not waste any of my time. I was always contacted back exactly as they promised or sooner. A. Dewitt Memorial funeral home and Jan Maloff were recommended to me by a lot of friends and co-workers. He helped me and my family when we lost our grandmother suddenly he took care of her like she was one his family member. Jan made accommodations for all my extended family coming from NYC and Florida. They were good to us and they made us feel very comfortable and till this day he has checked up on me and family well being. I highly recommend them to anyone of any race. They will always make you feel like family!

Jan and his staff did a very professional job with our family. He helped us get through a very tough time with his kindness, generosity and great sense of humor. He made sure we were properly informed about many of the small details that families often overlook or simply just do not think about when laying a loved one to rest! He gave us many options to choose from, which made or planning less overwhelming, allowing us to do what we wanted, to ensure our loved one was laid to rest with the respect, dignity and love that she so deserved.
