I had half my tree come down in some straight line winds and another company told me 4-6 weeks to get the rest of it removed. Trimmer Trees was able to come out to look at it and give me an estimate within 2 days of me calling. He was then able to fit me in the next week because I was worried about the safety of the rest of the tree. Price was very affordable and they did an amazing job.

Every project they have done for us has been done in a very professional and efficient manner at a reasonable price. We have had them remove an old tree in our backyard that was threatening our garage and they have also pruned our front yard maple and our sour cherry trees multiple times. We can't be happier with the results and will continue to use them to keep our trees healthy and looking their best.

Wonderful experience taking down a large maple tree in my front yard and trimming a large maple in my backyard through the alley (south Minneapolis). Whole job was done in about 5 hours, I was amazed. Cleaned up as if nothing even happened. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

The Trimmer Trees staff showed up right on time with several highly skilled tree trimmers. We had a 20+ year old box elder tree that had to come down. They were extremely careful to take down heavy limbs by using a balancing system with ropes and pulleys. The tree came down in under three hours at a very reasonable price. They cleaned up all the tree limbs and debris in our yard, our neighbor's driveways and on the street. I highly recommend their services! Top notch!

I had a large bush and some shrubs I needed cut down and the stump ground out. Never hired an arborist before. A contractor recommended another company but after two calls with little communication over two weeks I grew tired of trying. I turned to Yelp to request a quote from Trimmer Trees which, conveniently enough, I could request right through the Yelp app.

The owner, John, messaged me back two days later--again, conveniently right within the Yelp app--with a quote. He said he was in the neighborhood and could get the work done that same day. I even shared a photo through the app of the bushes

John and his crew did an amazing job! From the initial estimate to the cleanup afterward, everything went smoothly with no pesky surprises.
My project was the removal of a large, dying ash tree (about 40 ft. high). (Note: I did not have the stump ground, but decided to make it part of my landscaping.)
The Trimmer Trees crew arrived as scheduled, and worked steadily until the job was complete. The site was so clean, it looked as though they vacuumed up the debris.

I've worked with a few tree companies during my 17 years in the green industry. Trimmer Trees is without a doubt the best. John & his crew are always professional & courteous. Beyond that, they consistently exhibit something sorely lacking these days - Competence! Trimmer Trees does great work. They show up on time, do the job right & clean-up when they're done. After reading many position reviews about Trimmer Trees, I went with them to take down a Box Elder tree in my yard. The tree had just started on its own years ago (we thought it was a bush at first). The tree grew so big it was a hazard to both my house and wires.

John was great to work with. Very reasonable prices. I highly recommend Trimmer Trees.

Sadly we had to remove 2 trees in our backyard (1 was a diseased Ash and the other was a poorly placed Maple) and we went with John to do the work after taking quotes from 2 other service providers.

John has earned my tree trimming business for good, and since I have no "cons" to describe, I'll just list out the "pros":

- the price was the lowest ($800 lower than the other guys)
- the communication throughout was excellent
- the work was done promptly
- the work was done very well (e.g. minimal damage to the yard)

And as a bonus, John left me some log stools for sitting

I had to have two huge silver maple trees removed. I knew it was going to be expensive so I had 5 different companies come out to give me a bid. John's bid was right in the ballpark and I decided to go with him.
His crew is incredibly efficient and careful. They avoided our play-system in the back and a powerline.
