Dr. Alikhani is Professor and dean of CTOR Academy, and faculty at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. CTOR, the only center in the world dedicated to Translational Research in Orthodontics, focuses on discovering new approaches and technological advances for treatment of skeletal deformities and different types of malocclusion.
His research has produced several patents such as a micro-osteoperforation device (Propel), a high frequency acceleration appliance (Vpro5), External plates, Robotic Orthodontics and many others. Dr. Alikhani specializes in complex orthodontic treatment for teens and adults. His clinical focus is to treat severe jaw and dental deformities in patients seeking non-surgical treatment options using advanced biological and mechanical concepts.

Services
Early interceptive treatment, also called Phase I treatment, happens at the early stages of childhood, when your kid still has his/her baby teeth. At this stage, growth modification therapy can allow correction of severe crowding and jaw deformities. Your Orthodontist can evaluate the bite and determine if there is enough space for the larger adult teeth.
At your first visit, which takes approximately 30 minutes, your orthodontist will complete a comprehensive oral examination, diagnosis, and explanation of the recommended treatment. At this appointment, our treatment coordinator will discuss financial options available to you before starting treatment.

I've been a patient at the Orthodontics center for a few months now, and can nothing short of this place is excellent.
The doctors have all been kind and detailed, both of which I have really appreciated in each of my appointments. My treatment plan continues to go smoothly, updated as my teeth have moved, and explained when I have questions about it.
The receptionists are responsive and helpful, and have always been open to help with any e-mails I send over about a reschedule or if I'm having trouble with a recent appointment.

I've had orthodontic work done when I was younger but did not feel they fixed all my teeth alignment problems. After getting a consult with Dr. Alikhani, he told me he would be able to address all my problems in less than a year! I was able to finish my treatment within 9 months and am very happy with the final result. The friendly orthodontists and staff are an amazing group of people who truly care for you and want to help. I walked into the office knowing I wanted invisiline and there was no way I was going to get braces. During my initial consultation Dr. Alansari convinced me to go with the braces as they were going to give me better results. She told my teeth had a few problems that needed to be fixed (rotation, lifting of a molar) and invisiline was not going to correct them completely. I was impressed how she was actually taking the time to explain things to me fully and not just going with what I told her I wanted.

I always hated my teeth and felt that I was a lost cause. After my consult with Dr. Alikhani I was given a new sense of hope. During the last 4 months I’ve had pallet expanders and braces put in & I can see a difference in my teeth. Going to my appointments every 2 weeks & seeing how comfortable other patients are with their care lead me to believe I am in the best capable hands.

I had a bad accident this year where my teeth got pushed into my gums. I came to Orthodontics Center in Hoboken and Dr. Alikhani and Dr. Fanar welcomed me with open arms. They have treated me like family and I always feel welcomed. The braces they put on me worked perfectly and it realigned my teeth back to normal. The doctors know what they are doing and I completely trust them and recommend them to any patient in need of orthodontics.
