Amy is a licensed acupuncturist who graduated with her Master's degree in Acupuncture from the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine. She came to find East Asian medicine after suffering with a headache for 121 consecutive days. After trying everything else, she decided to try acupuncture and it transformed her life.
It is unique and advantageous for one's acupuncturist to navigate both Western and Eastern medicine. Reed is an exercise physiologist with deep anatomical and musculoskeletal knowledge. Reed is a true problem solver, showing the ability to look at complex issues. Most importantly he is also a caring person who is sensitive and thoughtful towards his patients.
Health is a lot like a bank account. It is easy to spend your savings, bust much more difficult to save or invest them. If you are at a point where you are feeling worn down or feel like you don't have much left, it will take time to reinvest in your wellness. How long it takes for you to feel better depends on where you are and how you invest in your health.

In just one months time, with 8 acupuncture sessions, Reed successfully resolved the swelling and pain in my toes and foot from a Morton's neuroma. This was after 11/2 years of increasing pain, visits to a podiatrist, and no success, just a proposal to surgically remove the nerve. Thanks to Reed I am pain free and kept the nerve. I also asked for treatment of some arthritis pain in my hand and after just one session felt relief. Reed is the best!!

I have been to acupuncture many times. I have found it healing, peaceful and pain free. My first time here he put a needle in my calf that hurt so much I yelled in agony and I'm asked to describe the pain? I said take it out. I'm not a pin cushion and I'm not into pain. There is NO way that pain is a path to healing. It still hurt after he took it out and 5 minutes driving away and now as I write this. Wrong spot. Beware if you go. There is no need for that.

I love that the acupuncturist has a background in both western and eastern medicine. I feel like they are able to see and explain things in a more holistic and easy to understand way. The process is demystified, I understand what each treatment is for and how we are tackling complex long standing issues and pains. Acupuncture has become a regular part of my preventative health care and I have never felt better.

I've been seeing Amy for the past 6 years and all along she has advocated for me. She has played a key role in helping me get my final diagnosis of Lyme disease and helping me find the doctor who diagnosed me properly. I tested positive for Rhuematoid Arthritis everytime starting out from my rheumatologist in 2014, but it was actually Lyme disease this whole time. I honestly believe her treatments slowed my disease process down and made life more bearable with this joint crippling disease. She listens to her patients and adds to her knowledge with continuing education courses. I don't know where

Extremely knowledgable, personable and compassionate - Amy Geile is a phenomenal acupuncturist and human.
I had never been to acupuncture before and was a bit skeptical. Now, I go religiously and travel out of my way (from North Seattle down to Tacoma) to go see her to help me with a range of issues. She helped me develop a holistic treatment plan for post concussive syndrome and got me through some very difficult times.
She's amazing at what she does. I couldn't recommend Compass Acupuncture highly enough.

I had surgery to repair a completely torn Achilles tendon earlier this year. My recovery was not going well and led to pain in my posterior tibial tendon. Five months post-op and I was back in a medical boot and could barely walk because of the pain when I first went to see Amy. She worked on my Achilles tendon, posterior tibial tendon, and the scar tissue from my surgery over a course of several sessions and has tremendously helped me recover. I’m finally getting relief from the pain and slowly transitioning back to walking in regular shoes. Going to see Amy was critical to my recovery. She’s

Not only is Amy a kind and compassionate person, but she's also a competent, intuitive, and careful practitioner. She helped an acute injury heal much faster than it would have otherwise, and with a toddler at home, I needed to regain my mobility fast. She made it happen. She's really just fantastic! Highly recommend!
