Understanding what your insurance provider covers is an important part of eye care, and understanding the difference between vision insurance and medical insurance is just as vital. There are two important elements of a comprehensive eye exam, the refraction and the eye health examination. A refraction consists of checking your glasses prescription and ensuring that you are seeing as well and as comfortably as you can.
Annual eye exams are vital to maintaining your vision and overall health. Omni Eye Center offers the optomap(R) as an important part of our eye exams. The optomap produces an image that is unique and provides our doctors with a high-resolution 200° image in order to ascertain the health of your retina.
Omni Laser Vision serves as a regional laser eye center for a network of renowned doctors whose expertise is in the art and science of laser vision corrections. Our qualified eye care professionals work as a team to provide you with a thorough pre-operative exam, comprehensive treatment plan, and follow-up care for each laser vision correction patient.
Dry eye is a condition in which a person doesn't have enough quality tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision. Dry eye is a common and often chronic problem, particularly in older adults. With each blink of the eyelids, tears spread across the front surface of the eye, known as the cornea.

I got a referral to do LASIK at Omni and I have had a positive experience from start to finish. Everyone on staff is very welcoming and nice, and my doctor, Dr. Dunn, was extremely accomodating and made sure that any questions or concerns were answered promptly. Dr. Dunn also assured me that all Lasik procedures include multiple post-op appointments to ensure the integrity of my eyes and if there were any problems that they could be addressed. Came here for an exam and glasses. My exam went well, had a small wait before win seen. I declined the retinal scab but they said they would like to do it anyways at no charge. When it came time to pay, they were going to charge me for the retinal exam. Their glasses selection was pretty good, not as good as some of my previous drs offices. Turn around time for my glasses was 7-10 days. After two weeks I had to call to check on them. Apparently they had been there for a few days but no one called.

I just had LASIK here and I am blown away by how amazing this place is. The people here are so welcoming and attentive to everything. The procedure went wonderfully and the following appointments have been thorough. They are absolutely great and I'd recommend them over and over again if possible, truly amazing!

I love Omni Eyecare! The check-in process is very quick and efficient with the tablets. I was brought back right on time. She disinfected every machine I used with alcohol before I touched it. There was only a 5 minute wait after she put me in an examination room. Dr. Dunn is very thorough and informative when I have questions. I am so grateful they do not use that eye test that puffs the air into your eyeball!

Today I went for a routine eye check up. They were quick to get me in, efficient with the tests, and thorough in their recommendations. I've been seeing Dr. Melton for my eye needs since I started wearing glasses/contacts at age 12. Always great service!
I had LASIK here in 2014 and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The procedure was quick and painless. I felt at ease and comfortable with what was being done. My vision is still 20/15 without any corrections.

I tried Omni for the first time this year because it was close to my house and seemed convenient. I greatly regret this decision. The doctor was wonderful. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful; however, the office staff completely ruined my experience and ensured I will NOT return.
I visited in March... it is now June and I have yet to receive my contact lenses. After not one, not two, not three or four, but FIVE attempts on my part to get the issue resolved I still am empty handed. The first four attempts were answered with "we'll get back to you on this," or "
