Services
We're close, convenient, and perfect for busy families who work in or near downtown Minneapolis who need safe and affordable daycare. MetroKids is near the bus line and the light rail station. We're right across the street from Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) and are near other downtown employers like Wells Fargo and North Central University.
The Little Lambs classroom is a safe and warm environment where your baby learns and grows every day. MetroKids teachers help even the youngest babies reach for their next milestone through a variety of activities. Your child will have opportunities for gross motor development, fine motor skills, cognitive development, and language expansion (including sign language).
I have spent the greater portion of my life working in Early Childhood Education and youth programming. I have a background in ECE and Family Life Education studying at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College and Concordia University. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree at Metropolitan State University with a focus in Life Span Development.
MetroKids is located in the historic First Covenant Church building at Seventh Street South and Chicago Avenue. We are within close walking distance of area employers including HCMC, Thrivent Financial, Kraus-Anderson, Wells Fargo, the Hennepin County Government Center, US Bank Stadium, and North Central University.

This place is amazing. My child has been going here since he was 3 months old and I can't think of a staff I trust more with him. Every time we walk to the "Little Lambs" room he starts getting super excited and it's a wonderful thing to see. I couldn't be more grateful for the care and love they give my little boy each day.
