Services
Dust Cutter derives its name from the Wild West when a cowboy was done riding through the range in the Sonoran desert. He would find no better relaxation than moseying into the local saloon to grease his throat and "cut the dust" in his mouth with a strong drink. Back then, drinks were strong, spirituous and served straight up.

I enjoyed Dust Cutter's breakfast twice while staying at the Renaissance hotel, in which this restaurant is based.
I have nothing but great things to say about Dust Cutter. Tasty food, an amazing ambience, great music, luxurious design, and great service. I was lucky to be served by Nathan on both occasions - he is awesome. He was very attentive to my needs, polite and friendly, easy to talk to, and efficient. Bottom line, he cares about his customers and pays attention to them. He is the kind of guy that makes sure customers feel good showing up, staying, and upon departure. I hope they

Certainly several steps up from your typical hotel bar! Dust Cutter offers Custom cocktails with several inventive twists. The Manhattan was a particular favorite for both of us - and my husband never drinks bourbon! Well, it looks like he does now!
The bartenders were attentive and each had their own ways to add a little something special to each cocktail, and the pours were quite generous.... so generous that we were grateful to have a room :-)
Though a bit pricey, Dust Cutter does offer a sweet Happy Hour deal: a selection of the appetizers are half price for a few hours. We tried the DC

Very quick service at the bar, friendly staff and nice ambiance with live music on Wednesdays and Thursdays. They have big tv minutos so makes for some good entertainment if no music at the time.
Had the chilly and it was thick and hearty , very tasty but served cold which is why I'm not 100% satisfied. Not sure how it was for other warm food but their salads looked very good as I glanced over at other dishes.
Good drinks selections, several wine glasses to choose from. It's a hotel lobby so it's on the pricier side... $12 for the chilly and same for the glass of wine. I basically

I had a work gathering here at the Dust Cutter at the Renaissance hotel and just a great atmosphere and plenty of wide open space , They were able to open all the walls so that it's nice and airy inside which is always nice , The decor and ambiance was great had plenty of TVs around the bar area to watch the football games and several tables and comfy lounge chairs. Definitely a nice place to stop by and get a drink or bite to eat. We ended up having appetizers like the spring rolls and some type of brisket flat bread which were both excellent as well as a biscuit ham and cheese slider which

We had a couple of these vodka drinks called "My darling Rhonda - most ladylike cowboy in town" fun. We also had a couple mezcal drinks called "Burn the breeze - ride at full speed"... fun drinks. We kept at if till they closed down at 1AM, the fun had to end sometime. š

Food was good. I got the Benedict and shared some with my husband and he loved it. I liked it, my son also liked it. Excellent service. Super cute restaurant with great decor. Glad to have this restaurant in the hotel to go to for breakfast. Prices were definitely fair for being in the hotel. I would eat there again.

We were staying at the hotel that was connected to the bar so we of course had to check out the bar!
What a perfect place to have a great cocktail and enjoy an upscale bar menu.
The cocktails are very fancy and taste amazing!
I recommend the "My Darling Rhonda - Most Ladylike Cowboy in Town" cocktail. It's definitely a siping control but delicious!

Great space - I love the interior decoration of this hotel lobby. The location is fabulous. We're here during Diamondbacks home series v. Dodgers and Suns playoffs, so it becomes a sports bar and hub for the fans. The wings are very good - naked fried, lightly seasoned, served with carrot sticks, celery, ranch and Frank's hot sauce on the side, like I like. The wine list is limited and at $18 a glass, the Sanoma Cutrer is waaaay overpriced. The only alternative Chardonnay however is rock gut! Needs a middle if the road option here.
Like a lot of places right now, they are in desperate

Not sure about the cocktails I got straight tequila. So maybe my review is biased, or maybe that's the only way I could try to enjoy the food here... If you enjoy fast food then definitely try this place out but if you are looking for actual delicious quisine that you will be satisfied with keep it moving. We got some appetizers and entrees and nothing felt more out together than a microwaved hungryman freeze dried. 32 bucks for a over cooked sirloin steak hit with some dried up chimmichurri was too much..I think my DNA was damaged by all the microwaves I injested here...
Service was great

While staying at the Renaissance, we decided to order takeout from here and stay in to watch the playoffs...SO glad we did!! Ordered the tomato poblano soup- really delicious and had a nice kick to it! Also ordered the blue corn nachos- I was kind of bummed they were out of the Beyond Chorizo (my BF is pescatarian) BUT they were kindly able to sub out for grilled chicken on the side for me (and they gave me a TON of it so I can't complain at all). The nachos were COVERED in toppings (queso, guac, sour cream, salsa, jalapeƱos) and were the PERFECT game snack! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a laid back but delicious dinner experience, this is your place! The Gaucho Style Flatbread was a super yummy way to start things off. For our entrees I ordered the burger and my boyfriend ordered the smoked chicken tacos. The burger was simple but cooked perfectly and the fries were great too! The tacos came with a dipping broth that was phenomenal and made the meal more fun to eat. The cocktails were a great addition to our meals as well - the Vieux Carre was the perfect balance of sweet and savory! Everything was very reasonably priced which makes this the perfect

Decided to stop in somewhere different for lunch downtown and was very impressed with Dust Cutter. The restaurant is inside the Renaissance Hotel and had an eclectic mix of patrons stopping in from what was likely travel or for a quick lunch break.
I'll admit that I was a little worried when we took a seat, nearly every table was full and between the bar and the restaurant floor, they had only two servers. However, the restaurant was well staffed and prepared for a busy lunch rush. They had a food runner, management was refilling drinks, and a busser took care to clear tables.
