When the Pennacchia family first opened their intimate Italian restaurant on the Mattituck Inlet over 30 years ago, the waterfront dining and emphasis on fresh, locally sourced Italian food inspired the "Touch of Venice" moniker. Now a North Fork fixture on the Main Road in Cutchogue since 2011, "Touch of Venice" and the Pennacchia family remain committed to welcoming diners with beautifully prepared, flavorful Italian dishes in their stylish, Venetian-inspired bar, dining room, and summer patio.

Could have been 5 stars. Empty bread basket and other items should have been removed after twenty minutes. Or wait staff might have offered to refill the bread basket, but they just kept walking by, i.e., "Don't look at me; you are not my table." Seared tuna appetizer was perfect, as was the winter salad. Bread was delicious as was the escarole and beans side dish. My husband's chicken Briano was excellent! I have food sensitivities (nightshades) so I asked for the cod to be prepared without peppers and tomatoes. Wait staff said no problem, but I should have asked for specifics. The chef simply

We are locals and had a very disappointing meal for our special anniversary night at the Touch Of Venice restaurant. We have eaten there many, many times before especially for special occasions. They were known for their eggplant and pasta dinners. However, although not on the menu, I asked if the chef can make the eggplant Parmesan again. The waitress said sure. It turned out to be a pre-frozen, eggplant patty dinner with a side of rigatoni. Absolutely terrible. We started the meal off with a toast of a martini straight up and a glass of Prosecco, at a cost of $36.00 for the two drinks. My wife

My boyfriend got a gift card for his birthday and we had never heard of it. We went the other night and absolutely loved it! The service was fast and friendly, the appetizer and food was incredible and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Touch of Venice to anyone who wants a fancy night out at a good price with great food!

The food is soooooo good. Not your standard "Italian" food, oh no... This is much better. The flavors and quality in each dish are off the charts - No exaggeration!! The wait staff and bartenders are equally as fantastic. If you are out east on the NoFo, make this your stop for dinner, you will not be disappointed.

Cozy family-run Italian place. Excellent wine list, and our server Denise was knowledgeable about wine. We had a Fiano di Avellino that was delicious. The food was typical Italian food, nothing fancy or new-age, but solid and comforting.
We had a baked artichoke, which was tasty but more of a rich and homey style with a bready mix crammed into the leaves that was a bit heavy for what I'd like from an artichoke. I had Fluke Milanese, which could have been crispier but the fish was fresh and the pasta was perfect. It was quite lemony but I enjoyed it, though the bell peppers felt out of place in

As far as convenience & value are concerned A Touch of Venice is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. The staff is friendly, the food came out quickly and it was delicious. Did I mention the bread & the cocktails were good as well. They have a classic old school square bar right by the picture window, a good size dining room and outside patio dining as well. If you're in Cutchogue this restaurant is a safe bet.

Never had a bad experience with this restaurant. Had to post this. I saw some negatives and it upsets me. This farm to table fresh food is the BEST. It's clean on the palette and not ever overdone. If there is any cheesecake left get a slice.. The Mom makes it with her own 2 hands and It's Delicious This family restaurant is what life is about. Nice quality, hard work and all for your consumption. Nothing is perfect if there is a issue it w ill be resolved. We will see you soon. Dee and Anthony

Lovely experience. Came here to have dinner with my grandparents and girlfriend. The meatballs and stuffed artichoke are fire! I tend to go with the seafood special when I come here and never miss. Literally the best stuffed artichoke for miles in any which direction. Barbara greeted us at the door and was the hostess with the mostest no doubt. I will definitely be going back. Great indoor seating with multiple rooms and a lovely outdoor patio with plenty of space. The bar is very nice as well. Parking in the rear.

Really good Italian food, with a beautiful outdoor patio on the Northfork, featuring a plethora of local produce and original menu options along with the usual recognizable Southern Italy favorites. We had salads, antipasto, and seafood and all were portioned well really fresh and presented beautifully.

My wife and I took a ride out east on Father's day and came across this restaurant. We decided to give it a shot, they had indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our appetizers were very tasty, and so was our entries. We each had a glass of wine with dinner and shared a desert. We left feeling very satisfied with our experience. When we are out east we will definitely go back. A++

Our waitress was great and very personable. The chef or cook oddly kept coming out to hang out with his regulars or friends, taking his mask off to talk to them, and probably going back in the kitchen to cough on the food. I think he was out of the kitchen more than he was in it. Considering one internal Covid case would probably shut this restaurant down for at least a couple weeks, I found that extremely careless and displeasing. We thought about leaving but had already had our open bottle of wine and apps before we noticed it. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and meatballs for apps and both

I'm very happy to find wonderful restaurant in Long island. My husband and I went for their inside dining for dinner. It's getting chilly out so we needed to stay inside. Our busboy forgot to give us water even though he asked us which water we would like but everything else was lovely. We started with meat balls. They are not regular tomato sauce meat balls. Very good. Got lobster pasta for the main was excellent. It come with actually a lot of lobster meat and not chewy. Perfectly cooked and great price. Sorbet for desert was big and yummy. I think it's good size to share.

Took a ride out from Mt Sinai for our anniversary. As always this restaurant is amazing. Started with prosciutto stuffed figs, sausage stuffed pepper. Both were excellent. We checked in on Yelp and got a free antipasto which was like a meal in itself. Ordered the fluke franchise and the cold seafood antipasto for entrees. Finished with their amazing home made Italian cheesecake phenomenal. Our waitress Aileen was so good, friendly, attentive and polite. Barbara inside checked us in, again so nice & friendly. Hands down a great dining experience from people who dine in a lot of high end restaurants

Hello yelpers, another food review by yours truly. Tonight, for the first time, we went to A Touch of Venice in Cuthogue. What a beautiful restaurant with outside seating. Nice wicker style tables on a pea gravel base with a fountain in the background.
For starters we had the rice balls.... made of rice, white corn, cheese and I'm sure some secret ingredient nicely fried... delicious.
For dinner, we ordered the Summer pasta with vegetables (zucchini, tomatoes), the Fluke milanese special, a very nice portion, nice and flakey, deep fried.. the Rigatoni with Italian sausage,

Went here on our day out East. The restaurant smelled when we first walked in, so that was a turn off. I went to use the bathroom and the door didn't lock. The restaurant was empty for the most part.
My boyfriend ordered the sea bass and I ordered the penne a la vodka. For $30, you'd think my boyfriend would be impressed with the sea bass. He wasn't and said it was not good. I ordered the penne a la vodka which was a waste of $22 and the sauce was extremely watery.
For my soda and my boyfriend's bubbly lemonade, it was $8.50. What????? What a waste of a $70 dinner.

Our 1st Visit to Touch of Venice & wasn't disappointing. The Service & Waitress was amazing.
We had the veal meatball & salad for appetizers. Dinner i had Sausage & Broccoli Rabe which had a delicious taste but the sausage was over grilled making it dry. Veal Parmigiana was tender. We would definitely recommend this place.
