Went here on a Tuesday night in October. The place was supposed to be open until 8 Pm. We arrived at 6:30 and my husband, who is very interested in history was looking at photos on the walls since the place IS historical. Without facing him at all a gentleman, who we presume could have been the bartender (hopefully not the owner since that means he cared even less) barked at him “We’re closed!”
Confused because of the posted hours hubby looked at his watch and again got barked at, “Don’t bother to look at your watch, we’re closed!”

One of the things that got us through the door of this place was the way the owner responded to some not so good review on yelp. As we walked in, the first thing that we noticed was the really cool decor. Very inviting and fun. We sat down and the owners made us immediately feel as if we were regulars. Great menu items and the food was really amazing. Chicken pot pie was suggested and it did not disappoint. We also ordered the ribeye steak which was beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. I wish we had discovered this place earlier on our trip. We will definitely return. Highly recommended

Been coming here on every trip to Greenport I've ever taken. Great bar with amazing decor. Got the shrimp scampi which was great and my son's meals were great too. Now that Greenport is the land of the $26 cheeseburger, Front Street Station still has amazing portions and great food. Highly recommend!!

Front street is as good as it gets when your talking home town good food. Pasta is awesome. They have seafood and chicken pastas, fried chicken. Raw bar. Salads are very fresh and tasty. Lots of friendly faces at the bar- Like cheers if you're old enough to know what I'm talking about. And the burgers are made with great cuts of meat. Always a family friendly place. Never disappoints.

I would give 10 stars if I could. We were walking around looking for a place where we could sit outside and have lunch with our westie. I am so glad that we found Front Street Station.
My wife ordered the hamburger and said it was delicious. It had these awesome shaped fries that were great.
I really enjoyed the plandome chicken wrap and loved the fries, too. The prices were very reasonable, and even though the place was very busy the owner, Sharon really went out of her way for us.

Came here with my mom and stopped in for lunch. Very friendly atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly and informative and boasted about the chef's menu. I started with the baked clams. The presentation was lovely and there were five clams without the shells (which was nice) because I practically licked the plate. My mom ordered the breaded chicken and fries and it was great! The chicken was moist and the fries were outstanding. I ordered the chicken pot pie which was loaded with chicken. We met the owners Dave and Sharon who were so friendly. Will definitely be going back to try other items!

This was the absolute worst restaurant I think I've ever been to and I never write reviews. I ordered shrimp with the white wine and got pasta with seafood soup. It was bland and terrible- there was soooo much water and it was not oil based at all. There were only 2 other couples in the restaurant and it took an hour and 20 min for them to serve us food. The idiotic waitress also kept calling us kids even though we're in grad school. Worst place!

I tend to give a lot of 5 star reviews because you can't compare the 4 Seasons to a Mom and Pop hotel by the same standard. Front Street Stationed doesn't compare favorably to a place like Ruth' Cris,but you will have a hard time finding better french fries, friendlier people, a cleaner establishment, or better casual dining facility than Front Street Station. My Daughter In Law loved the chicken pot pie, my wife the pot roast special .
The one star review is really a puzzle. Maybe they were having a bad day, or were trying to get their meal comped? Bottom line not the place

Had the most amazing chowder and chicken pot pie here. This place has a great decor and vibe. The service was pretty slow but that's understandable as the owners doubled up as servers amidst the pandemic. Chicken pot pie is one of their specialties and I relished every bite of it. The portion size was huge, it was creamy and delicious. Just what I needed on a cold Saturday afternoon. The prices are reasonable. All precautions were taken, tables were 6 feet apart and the table cover sheets were changed with every new customer. Great food and friendly owners.

Came here for first time while visiting Greenport. The service was not that great.
I ordered the Chicken Chardonnay which is described on menu to be served in white wine sauce. It came out as a heavy Alfredo style. Not what I expected at all. My wife had a cheeseburger which she liked.
For dessert we split the apple pie. That was very good.

Interesting little place in heart of Greenport. The menu is made to order so I heard the waitresses tell multiple tables if there is something you want made differently, the chef can accommodate. I wish I would've known that you can order from lunch menu at dinner but I heard after I had ordered. The service was a bit slow but it seemed perhaps a little understaffed so I think that is why.

Had a Groupon for this restaurant and wanted to try it as we had never been there before. Place was empty as it is a Wed and the weather was lousy. Super nice waitress. I ordered a cocktail which was good and hubby just had a soft drink. I got a lunch special which was a Reuben and he got a burger. He enjoyed his burger which I could see was hand made. That's a plus. The fries are very unique and huge and were quite good. Now for my Reuben. I was EXTREMELY disappointed.
