Kim has spent her 28 year career as an outpatient orthopedic therapist. She has worked in both hospital and private practice settings in New York and Northern Virginia. Throughout her years of practice, she noticed a trend among PT practices towards high volume, non-individualized care.

Services
In the past, people primarily looked to physical therapy as a means to recover from an injury. This is no-longer the case. We routinely see patients that are looking to. The team of therapists at Restore take a holistic approach with each patient. Rather than just treat a specific injury or "pain area, " our therapists work to discover the root cause of an issue before establishing a customized plan of care.
In order to deliver the best possible care, we have carefully selected the most skilled, hands-on therapists. You will never be simply told to "go do your exercises." Hands on, manual therapy is what sets us apart. If you are not seeing results within your first three visits, we will assess your current plan of care and change our approach if necessary.
You are still ready to get started. In the state of Virginia, Direct Access allows you to recieve treatment by a physical therapist for 30 days without a prescription from your doctor. This direct access allows you to be treated earlier, resulting in a quicker recovery and return to your normal activities.

I worked with Rachel Gorman and she was just awesome. I had the miserable experience to have had dealt with vertigo. I was just miserable and after my first-two visits I have drastically showed improvement. Rachel demonstrated the knowledge, experience, and medical skills to get me better - just in time for my book to get released in the Dec-Jan 2022 timeframe. Rachel you are definitely the best & much appreciated!

Several months ago I experienced severe knee pain in my right knee. I thought it was minor twist but months passed and the pain just didn’t want to go away so I reached out to an Orthopedic surgeon who diagnosed it as a bad case of osteoarthritis that she described as bone on bone.

Found Restore PT & Wellness after needing PT following spine surgery and couldn't be happier with the find. Able to get me in quickly. Kate at the front desk was knowledgeable with the insurance and worked with my surgeon and the insurance to get the needed paperwork submitted. Leyla, my therapist was knowledgeable, professional, and encouraging throughout my sessions with her. She and the trainer had me ready to return to work exactly 13 weeks from the day of my 3 level fusion surgery!

I had a wonderful experience with Restore PT! I primarily worked with Julia and various exercise specialists during my treatment of two different injuries. Everyone was always very kind, and especially Julia - she was incredibly patient and was always able to answer all of my questions throughout my treatment. I was in PT for about 3 months and made wonderful progress by the time I was released. Julia & team made sure I was well versed in the exercises I would continue at home, and also discharged me with a plan for me to get back to running. I normally don't write review but I wanted to shout out to Rachel who treated my vertigo. I've been suffering vertigo for whole year and I've seen multiple specialists and PTs but no one was able to cure me. The symptoms from vertigo came back almost every day or every week and I had to sleep on one side without turning for whole year (which caused my frozen shoulder and I'm seeing Julia now and she is amazing too). Rachel treated me about 3 weeks and it's completed cured now, and I'm able to turn around when I sleep and I haven't had any symptoms for over 3 weeks now. I'm so grateful to amazing

I have just completed therapy at Restore and feel really good. Rachel worked with me and helped me restore balance. She was always encouraging and patient and made it fun. My confidence has returned and looking forward to resuming my activities
