Established in 1988 as AllState Gems, we started as one of many vendors in a humble collective of small specialized jewelers located near South Coast Plaza in Orange County, CA. In 2010, we acquired the entire space, transforming it into a beautiful 5,200 square foot showroom.

Buying diamonds is not something most people do often or know a lot about and there is generally a concern of where to go and how to know what is good
My expierence here was amazing start to finish. Working with Karen she was amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, easy going, honest and provided some details we did not know that allowed us to make the perfect ring choice for us.
Regarding the diamond, Tom the owner, was about as honest, knowledgeable, easy going, no pressure and up front as possible

Jenny was amazing! I had limited time to find my dream ring and Jenny made it happen. I sent Jenny photos of the ring styles I wanted. The samples were already hand picked at the store when I got there and didn't have to browse. Jenny worked within the budget and customized the ring I wanted. Jenny was great. Very patient with us. I brought in my old ring for a new setting. She took the time to explain every detail. Didn't try to up-sale us. I got exactly what I wanted plus a matching band. I'm very happy with the quality and price of the ring. I'm definitely going to go back for my future rings.

Jenny really put in work to find a wedding band that I would love. In the end my husband chose one that Jenny had suggested. I absolutely love it!
The great thing that they offer is free cleaning for their clients. Since my ring is a morganite it get dirty quickly but they leave it super sparkly after.
I cannot recommend South Coast Jewelers enough. We have already told all our friends about it!

We went on a long journey to find the right engagement ring and wedding band. It started out by going online to Costco.com which was a terrible mistake. The quality of the 3 rings we purchased and returned were low. Then we went to a major retailer. We spent an hour and 1/2 lost in confusion there. I don't wear very much jewelry so looking at their selection was like standing in front of a big buffet but not seeing one dish that actually seemed appetizing. I have been a client of South Coast Jewelers for several years. They helped me with the perfect engagement ring by setting a perfect solitaire stone in a custom ring especially made for my fiancée. Working with Jenny has been a really smooth process. Setting up appointment times with her have always worked out well as we're driving in from quite a ways away. I had spoken to her ahead of time letting her know what we were looking for and on our appointment date we were able to decide on all pieces that same day. She had everything completed by the scheduled timeline but due to CA's ever changing shelter in place guidelines at the time we were unable to make the trip out for a number of months. I had made an appointment to meet with Tom to check out their selection for engagement rings and he was very knowledgeable and honest during my visit. He answered every question I had and did not make me feel pressured to buy with south coast or buy something during my visit.

Came here to resize a ring that we did not purchase here. Initially we thought it would only be half a size, but from their recommendation, we went from a 5.5 to 4.25. I was hesitant after dropping the ring off and came back a few days later to recheck my size. Again, their recommendation was correct and the ring fits perfectly now! Very happy!

So I just want everyone to know this place is awesome the staff is awesome their selections are great I am just amazed what this company can do I can personally tell you that I've gone to five other Jewelers and no one was very straightforward honest and to the point of what I wanted there was no fluff there was no conversation where I felt that they didn't know what they were talking about as well as they didn't try to upsell me more than what I needed to they kept me within a budget that I needed to be and they were absolutely amazing I want to give a special reference and thank you to Karen
