Since 1967, Alpha-Tran Engineering Co. has provided sustainable solutions to our customers via programming upgrades to an existing panel control system, or through development of an entirely new instrumentation system. We pride ourselves on the in-house ability to fully and safely integrate complex levels of logic with instrumentation.
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) is a control system that uses computers, networked data communications and graphical user interfaces for high-level process supervisory management, but uses other peripheral devices such as programmable logic controller (PLC) and discrete PID controllers to interface with the process plant or machinery.
Inspiring people to conquer challenges related to mobility and independence, through a nationwide network of volunteer chapters, working in partnership with physical, occupational and speech therapists; by providing Amtryke adaptive trykes, scholarships for therapists and many forms of community service.

Robert G Metzger (Bob) The founder of West Michigan Instrumentation passed away yesterday Wednesday 7/15/2015 at 4:45PM. On his terms....out of bed.
Robert Metzger was very much a decent man. Bob actually Loaned Alan LeMieux $10,000 on a hand shake to purchase Alpha-Tran Engineering. Bob then proceeded to teach Mr. LeMieux what he knew about instrumentation and control systems and many will attest to treatment like a son.....and partner.
In the mid 80s the business connected with the Federal Clean Air and Water act meant that business for municipal projects had slowed down. During that time Mr
