Services
DeWys Engineering was founded in a college dorm room at Ferris State University in 2009. Soon after its creation DE began establishing a strong business relationship with many West Michigan based manufacturing companies by aiding them in design and engineering projects. Over the intervening years the business has continued to build its customer base across a wide range of industries with companies both big and small.
The Designers at DE are expert users with 20+ years' experience in SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD and many other popular 3D CAD Packages. DE is a CAD Design service provider as well Mechanical Engineering Consultants for many different companies and industries. Starting with a whiteboard sketch, napkin drawing, or even just a conversation with hand gestures.
DeWys Engineering offers a reverse engineering service built to handle your most complicated parts and assemblies. Starting in 2014 DE purchased its first Faro ScanArm to fill a need in the West Michigan area for reverse engineering large cast gears and hydraulic components. Overtime the scanning business has expanded its scope to include the 3D laser scanning and reverse engineering of just about everything imaginable.
3D Printing offers an extremely fast and cost effective solution for producing prototype parts. DeWys Engineering is located in the same building as its sister company, Forerunner 3D printing. Due to this, DE is able to offer its customers not only engineering services and 3D laser scanning, but also 3D printed parts using SLA, FDM, SLS, CLIP and Metal Printing as well as Quick Cast investment casting patterns.
We are always looking to talk to potential candidates with strong CAD design and Engineering backgrounds. Communicating project requirements internally with other members of our team and externally to our customers. Capable of sketching rough concepts on a white board or paper and present it to the DE team / end customer.
