Many years ago I started in the energy audit industry, then progressed into home inspections. Several years ago I trained with Terry King, one of the best home inspectors with over 25 years of experience.

Randy did our home inspection in July and brought up a few items that needed addressing, which the previous owners were more than happy to fix before closing. We moved from out of state, so could not be there to walk through and notice things on our own. When we moved in, we were shocked to find many other things wrong with the house that the inspection should have caught. We have had three other inspections done in the past, and every single one of them would have caught these problems. They include: a window in the kitchen that is literally only held up by a stick, the kitchen faucet gets stuck

Do NOT hire King's Inspections for your home inspections. He made a gross error on my report and when confronted on it his explanation was that it is just one box missed on a long 17 page report. He's gone on to post blatant lies about me when I opened up a case with Better Business Bureau. It's extremely unprofessional to handle things this way by turning to dishonesty.
He failed to catch that my house is wired with aluminum instead of copper. This is now costing me over $3,500 to fix which could have been done by the seller before I purchased the house had I been made aware. He calls attention

Only hire Randy King if you aren't looking for a thorough inspection of your home and merely want a "snapshot" of what your home looks like the day he arrives. Sadly he was trusted and when issues arose he backed behind the statement that he is only there to give us a "snapshot". This is NOTHING like every other hard working person and business we have come across in the Midwest and it has been disappointing. At least we can advise others.
