I am a long time patient. The minute they noticed that I was no longer buying my eyeglasses from them, the front desk stopped allowing me to schedule appointments to see Dr. M. for my annual eye exam. Their frame inventory is hideous and local'ish. Worse is that a complete pair of glasses from them is an outrageous ripoff. This is a widespread anti-American practice detailed in a 60 Minutes article “Sticker Shock: Why are glasses so expensive?” detailing the monopoly in the eye-glass industry.

Found Innovative Eye Care because they are one of two practices in the state to offer Moscot frames. While I believe I’ve received excellent care from the optometrists on their staff, I’ve also been blown away by the extra mile the opticians have gone to make sure the eyewear my family and I select are as perfect a fit as possible. Their attention to the nuances of our prescriptions has been outstanding.

I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of an eye doctor. I have been a patient for almost 3 years and have visited for annual checkups as well as eye issues I’ve encountered. Both doctors at this office are extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and caring. They have gone above and beyond to explain their treatment plan and checked-in between appointments to ensure I am improving. The office is very appealing, clean and modern. Really can’t say enough great things about the staff and doctors at Innovative Eye Care Charlotte.

Dr. Mumford and the staff at Innovative Eye Care are awesome! A prime example, I showed up this morning at 8:00 a.m. with a problem with my eye and I was able to see Dr. Mumford within a matter of minutes even though she was booked for the entire day. The office is clean, the staff is professional, and the quality of care is great!

I cannot say enough of Innovative Eye Care! I have always had issues with my eyes and Dr. Mumford was the first doctor that actually took the time to help me find a solution to my eye issues (which is now well under control). She is absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, and passionate about her practice. The staff there is amazing and they care about you as if you were their family. Thank you for being awesome!

I recently moved to the area and previously have gone to the same eye doctor for my entire life so I was nervous to try a new practice. Dr. Mumford and her team were fantastic and extremely organized and professional! The building was clean, I didn't have to wait to be seen and Dr. Mumford had some great suggestions to help with some of the dry eye issues I've been having. Very happy I found a great new eye doctor!

I am highly satisfied with Innovative Eye Care. Dr. Mumford and her team are phenomenal. For my first visit, I was greeted with the warmest smiles and the best service. Dr. Mumford made sure I was comfortable during my exam. Once the exam concluded, she took the time to explain my current eye health and vision. I was also very happy with my assistance from Lead Eyewear Consultant, Jenn. She helped me find the best frames suited for what I was looking for, and for what looked best. Innovative Eye Care easily earns 5 stars!!!
