We were visiting from Phoenix and had problems with our Jeep not starting. The dash was reading several trouble issues and we luckily found this mechanic shop and towed our vehicle there. The owner Danny was gracious in squeezing us in his busy schedule and was able to get us back on the road the next day. We greatly appreciate him and his crew, including his wife Winter; they were all very nice and helpful!

I live in Santa Monica but had traveled up to Big Bear to stay for a few nights while my dad and his girlfriend were visiting from Philly. The night before we left my tire pressure light, my check oil light and my check coolant lights all came on and I was apprehensive about driving back to LA without getting it checked. The next morning I went online and starting calling places. I was expecting to have to delay my drive home as the first 2 places I called said they were too busy. Then I got Big Bear Auto on the phone. They were so friendly and said to just bring it by and they would check it

The team at BB Auto Repair are outstanding!!! We had some issues driving up to Big Bear and smelled something burning. We were able to get the car in right away and they were very quick to point out the issue and let us know how to resolve it with the dealer when we get home. Most importantly they gave us a sense of safety for the drive home! If you ever need anything while in the area, don't hesitate to stop by!

Honestly don't know the guys name who helped me, but I had no cash on me and he still helped me out. I was visiting from LA, and really needed assistance since my tires were so bad and they delivered. Super professional and cordial. 100% would recommend to visitors and residents. I was visiting from San Diego and had a brake system failure in my truck. I had to leave the car for a week and rent a car to get home, then Uber back. It sounds miserable but not when you are working with Big Bear Auto. The mechanic(s) sorted out the truck's brake system. As a result, it drives better than before. Mechanic (s) is a pro. The price was reasonable, and customer service was outstanding.

Truck broke down on me while coming up to Big Bear over labor day weekend. Had it towed to this shop and on a whim because everyone was already closed for the holiday. Spoke with Danny on Tuesday where he layed out a plan for me. After diagnosing the problem later that day, he informed me that my fuel pump had gone out. Fuel pump on my jeep is inside the tank so would be labor intensive plus he would need to order the pump. Yikes! After getting over the cost of repairs, I realized that the cost was fair plus Danny got my truck done by Thursday afternoon. I highly recommend this place!

Danny was super from start to finish to repair a flat tire on my Toyota Highlander! I had discovered the flat tire at home, had AAA come out and put on my spare (I'm still learning how to do stuff with this rig!) and discovered a nail had punctured the primary tire. I called Big Bear Auto Repair based off of other yelp reviews and am glad I did.
Danny took my call, kindly listened to the situation and provided their same day hours so I could plan ahead. Upon arrival in the office he gave me quote on the types of repair available to fix the tire, all options were prices well and totally reasonable

Vacationed in Big Bear Lake area for a week. Arrived on Sunday. On Tuesday the “Low Air Pressure” indicator shows on my dash board. We stopped at Big Bear Auto & Truck Repair, explained the situation, thinking that one of our tires had a slow leak. After a very short wait, technicians performed a visual check of the tire, then checked the pressure on all four tires and saw that they were all near 35 PSI. No charge. They suggested that we drive around for a few hours and come back to re-check. We did. Same pressure all around. They suggested the “Low Air Pressure” sensor may be faulty. No

Now I see why these guys are rated 5-stars . We were vacationing in Big Bear and on the day we planned to leave, we discovered we had an oil leak-oh no! We had to find a good car service station before our 3 hr road trip back home. We "yelped" and found this place. We are so glad we did. Within about an hour, they figured out the problem, repaired it and didn't price gouge us! We felt fortunate and got on the road and home safely.
