What an incredible experience! This was my first time in the shop and my hair was a mess, just a range of colors. I also have very long and thick hair so it isn’t easy to work with. He was so meticulous, knowledgeable, and kind. I left with hair that looked and felt great!

It was a great experience, first time going there and he did amazing! My hair was red with black roots and blonde (a mess) before and I left with a even color and he took his time to understand what look I was going for and it turned out great! Definitely recommend..

Came in on my birthday for the first haircut I’ve had in years. I said goodbye to my overly long, boring one dimensional hair and hello to the best hair style I’ve ever had. He cut the face framing layers, gave me the body and style I was dreaming of but had never achieved. It’s perfect down, fantastic in a ponytail, super versatile into braids and my mom bun no longer looks like the scary principal from Matilda. Couldn’t be happier with the results. This guy does magic with those scissors.

Wow, Wow, WOW!! Decided to treat myself to some professional salon services and called Graeme to make an appointment for consult/pricing on a root touch up and trim as well as for future highlights/lowlights and trim for my hair. I have long, thick hair and I wanted to know in advance how much it was going to set me back. He was able to get me in that day for the consult and as I waited for him to finish up a customer (I was a bit early) I noticed how clean, bright/airy, and serene his salon was. Koala Hair Company did such an amazing job with my daughters hair cut and color! This was her very first experience at a salon, and he made us feel very comfortable and safe. He also took the time to explain to us the importance of maintaining and caring for her freshly colored hair. Both her and I couldn’t be more happier with how her Aurora Borealis hair color turned out! It’s absolutely beautiful!

I was so happy to get a next day appointment with Graeme, as I was hesitant about what to do about my growing out greys. Even though I wasn’t looking to color my hair again, Graeme is a color expert so I was hoping he would be able to blend the grey with some creative layering. This salon is amazing! I've gone to numerous salons and had OK to bad experiences. My latest salon couldn't do an even, not brassy blonde and took hours. This salon was amazing! Not only did he get a beautiful blonde but he cut and styled it beautifully in so little time while working on another client around the same time! He's so kind and easy to work with. He even helped fix the damage I put my hair through doing it myself.

He did such an amazing job! At such a short notice as well. I am from Barrow Alaska & I don't fly into town that often & I haven't gotten my hair done in 6 years and I am do happy I went to see him; furthermore, he is kind, professional & did exactly what I asked for! Graeme is amazing and really listens to what you want. I've been to him twice now and the experience is always great. I called him at 4:45 pm one day as he was closing up, explaining I was traveling in two days and really wanted a cut and highlights. Even though he didn't seem to want to stay so late and do them that evening, he could tell I was really eager for a change and stayed until 9:30pm with me and made me look great for my trip. My 13 year old daughter was gifted a hair style/color from her grandma for her birthday and knew exactly what she wanted. After calling several salons with subpar reviews, we were unable to get into see anyone for weeks. After reading Koala Hair Companies' outstanding reviews. I decided to give them a call. First time at this salon....had read that Graeme, the owner does color well....I was quite hesitant for months to have low lights done on my silver hair, but after talking with him, we went for it! He did a beautiful job and a trim and gloss and eyebrow treatment for a very reasonable price!

Graeme is phenomenal!!! I have been trying to achieve a silver ashy color for six years and 6 previous hair stylist could not achieve it. I honestly almost gave up. So glad I didn't and came here. He listened closely, gave ideas, and nailed it. Thank you!!!! Oh and he got me in last minute too- I think I scheduled a week out. Overall amazing experience.

This is the worst hair salon ever! I can't believe all these reviews. I went to this place due to the reviews and figured it was a lie. I went in to get my hair done grey. they said it would be hard to achieve due my hair color being black which I understood. So anyway, they still went on and proceeded with my hair. The girl bleached and bleached my hair and it took up into 2 am. we haven't ate dinner yet and so a friend of mine decided to order food. Absolute #1 Salon I have ever gone to in my entire life. I always go to the best salon in whichever state I am in and Graeme is way above all the many I have gone to all over the country.
