Texas Bay in Pearland has exceeded my expectations to say the least. We were coming to withdraw for a car loan down payment and they immediately suggested they could get us a better deal. Decent bank with friendly service but every time you need something expect to wait 15+ minutes to get someone on the line. Expect to hear, "At this time we are experiencing high call volumes with longer than normal wait time" every time. The online chat is useless when you ask anything in regards to your account they respond with, "We do not have access to member account via CHAT or TEXT services. This is a general information only platform for your security."

We have been doing business with TBAC for about 30 years now. Candyce is one of the top people in our book. She is always helpful, and goes to whatever trouble it takes to get what we need. She is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the Credit Union. What she doesn't know she will find out. We like that. She makes doing business easy. The world needs more of her.

Early on if the first pandemic I got a call saying I owed them $500. I had taken out all my money but a few dollars since I didn't want to go in to close the account. I opted out of overdraft because I didn't want to owe why was taken out plus a fee years ago. The $500 I owe is in fees. The call early on I made a case that they lost no money and all the money they wanted was from their own fees. Which their creditValet app didn't notify me of. During the call I said that it was a bad look to do this during the pandemic and just unfair since their app didn't tell me anything

Marlene made my experience very comfortable and she was very professional. Knew her job and explained all the products they offered. Gave me good pointers on working on my credit and info about refinancing my auto. So glad I finally decided to open an account with a credit union and really glad it was with Texas Bay Credit Union.

I thank God for Kayla! She helped me with the purchase of my new vehicle! It was such a swift and easy process. I loved being able to communicate with her back and forth via text. Everything was so convenient for me ... not to mention the interest rate she got approved for me! Kayla also assisted me with setting up a few other lines of credit to help me keep building my credit score! Marlene is our person. She has gone above and beyond for us. Our family is blessed to have someone who treats us like family and makes sure that there aren’t any loose ends. Our vehicle was stolen after having just refinanced it. She helped us with that process and made everything so easy. She then assisted us in obtaining another vehicle. I've been banking at Texas Bay credit Union and it's predators and predators predecessors for over 30 years 40 years and when I was in my 20s I got my first motorcycle loan from them but did banking they were always helpful with loan small short term loans when I was a bit in my 30s so I biked Argott my house refinance with them and they gave me a loan for a reconstruction project one of their first anyway they've been more than excellent throughout all these years I give them a five star rating thank you

Very un helpful, rude, not a bank for the customer it's a bank just to benefit the bank. I've been there almost a year and a half now and I've literally had my account hacked several times, only got refunded for two. And it seems like nobody up there knows their job because they ALWAYS have to go to the back where the bosses are to come back and give you the answer they told the reps to give you.

Do not trust this banking institution!! Incredibly poor service!! They do not follow through on their promises!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. In March 2014 I decided to downsize from a truck to a car. My credit was less than desirable after going through a divorce. I had financing already lined up though. While I was at the dealership a representative from this credit union was there. He told me he could beat the interest rate if I would agree to put a GPS device on my car and after the first year of making on time payments he would refinance the loan for a better interest rate.
