He started working with us in 2000 as our Night Auditor. After 15 years he gained the privilege to move up to General Manager. He somehow manages to wrangle his team with good humor, charm, and a caring personality. His dream job was to work in the movies as a cinematographer, editor, and/or director.
Historians of the Battle of Gettysburg have long recognized the key nature of the high ground known as Cemetery Hill. Of the numerous hills and ridges that constitute the battlefield, none was more vital to the fighting or its outcome. The soldiers knew this as well, one Northern officer remarking, "It is the only position."

There are 2 buildings. The first night we were in the second building. There was a really loud noise every 30 seconds or so. It sounded like a compressor with a loud thud at the end. It shook the room. We weren’t able to sleep. I spoke with the night person at 5am. She said she would have maintenance look at it. I went back at 7 and the manager said it was the sump pump. We were moved to another room.
I understand about the no breakfast because of Covid. But the ice machine was out of order!

Had to book a last minute room and I could not be happier that I chose the Inn at Cemetery Hill. Right downtown, in walking distance of almost everything. Staff was very polite throughout the whole stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was clean stocked. And they had a grab and go breakfast. You could not ask for more. I don’t think I’ll be staying anywhere else for future visits.

Very nice for a 2 star! A little disappointed that when I booked there was no mention that breakfast was stopped. They do have some refrigerated items and coffee in the lobby. Room and grounds are well kept and comfortable. Friendly staff. Very convenient location. Will be staying again on our next trip.

The location of this place is perfect! It is right next to a ton of great restaurants, bars, breweries & shops, as well as the soldier cemetery, and is within a very reasonable walk to historic downtown (we actually liked the little hangout spots by the hotel better than the ones downtown). The rooms are clean and nice-- all have AC and a little seating area out your door. We'll definitely stay here the next time we're in Gettysburg!

Charlie the hotel manager and his staff are AWESOME.. This is our 5th year here and we will come back every year, and rent out at least 4 rooms at a time. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, location is the best it can be in town. Access to restaurants, bars, ghost walks etc etc. We're able to park our bikes right in front of our rooms which is a PLUS PLUS.. The little picnic area in front of the entrance is a plus, you can sit there and relax and chit chat.. Hotel is pet friendly which is great also. The room service girl was great, she offered us clean towels, and extra anything we needed and was
