The purpose of the "walk and talk" home consultation service is to evaluate the condition of the home and answer all questions you have about the home, maximizing the limited time you have at the home. In our highly competitive housing market, home buyers find themselves short on time, and waiving their home inspection service.
Indoor air pollutants like mold spores, VOC's and dust mites can contribute to allergic reactions and chronic respiratory disease. Using the latest electronic air quality analysis equipment, your home or office will be tested for airborne particulate matter at 2.5 microns. A written report is produced documenting the results of the indoor air analysis, and recommendations for improvements as needed.
Subterranean termites are one of the most potentially damaging insects of wooden structures in the United States. Termites will cause serious problems in your home if left untreated. I will thoroughly inspect to determine if there is termite damage and/or active infestation. Inspect the foundation of the house, garage and other buildings for shelter tubes coming from the soil.
Furnace and Hot Water Tanks- The inspector will need to approach and inspect these areas. Please ensure there is a clear area around these appliances for a proper and safe inspection. Crawlspace Access- The best practice is to have the access open to the inspector before they arrive. Please ensure there is a clear path through the crawlspace to any mechanical areas such as furnaces or main water supply.
Ben was my inspector and was extremely accommodating in scheduling, He took the time to explain his process and to explain issues that he identified as he went through the property. He provided a final report within 24 hours of the inspection that was easy to understand and was inclusive of all of the items that he discussed throughout the inspection process.
