In 1936 Lenox Jewelers was founded in the bustling downtown Bridgeport area of Connecticut. After operating in the same location for 40 years the decision was made to re-locate to the up and coming Black Rock Turnpike shopping district in neighboring Fairfield. For the past 44 years Lenox Jewelers has called Black Rock Turnpike home with just recently moving into its new home a beautiful free-standing building at 2500 Black Rock Turnpike.

I am amending my above review, two months later, to include this update: after resistance on their part, and some persistence on mine, Lenox did replace my defective watch. They were reluctant to do this, but I disputed the credit charge and they eventually came around. I also believe that my negative reviews (here and on Google) played a factor in this. As I mentioned above: One thing about self-winding, mechanical Breitlings: they need to be wound every day if not worn. The wrist motion of wearing them will wind them; however, if they are not wound while not being worn, they will stop. Also,

Recently purchased an engagement ring with Lenox and the experience was great. Jake and Mike both were extremely helpful and patient as we went back and forth on numerous different ring configurations, and even had a 3D printed model made to help me visualize better. I contacted Mike of Lenox Jewelers, I had a particular watch I was interested in. He got back to me very quickly, and soon after had the piece I wanted! I have no idea why this place has only 3 stars. We have been coming here for years and bought few watches. We also come here for battery change for our Cartier and Omega watches. Everyone has been very courteous and helpful. I would rather come here than to the Cartier Mansion in NYC that makes you make appointments. I walked right in to get my watch battery replaced then I walked out 10 mins later with a new battery.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Lenox jewelers is. Everyone I've dealt with there has been absolutely delightful but Kenny went above and beyond with his customer service. My fiancé and I are getting married tomorrow, I contacted Kenny on Wednesday looking for a simple gold band for my fiancé and he texted me pictures, then figured out what I was looking for and special ordered it and made sure it arrived by today. I searched on the internet for a watch repair shop for my vintage Breitling. It needed an extra link for the steel bracelet so it would fit more comfortably on my wrist so I headed off to Lenox Jewelers in Fairfield. Kenny, the Manager was able to find and add the new link to the old bracelet. The match was perfect and Kenny told me that there would no charge. Had several great experiences here. Service is quick enough and staff is polite. I don't know any workers personally but reading some of these nasty reviews prompted me to give my positive review. As you can see, most of the poor reviews are poorly written and this place has been robbed in the past, so it is NOT racial profiling when you look around, don't ask questions, and quickly leave. Also, don't insult a great company for having to buzz you in. Most jewelers need to and their lives are worth more than a thug's. Anyone who acts shady--black, white, purple, etc. deserves

Went here to pick up my first luxury watch (breitling superocean 44 :)) and it was a great experience. I walked in with a flannel shirt and jeans and the staff didn't treat me any different than they would a celebrity. Kenny who was working there, was very patient with me and didn't try to get me to buy anything out of my price range. Even though the color watch I wanted wasn't in stock, he called the factory and had it delivered first thing in the morning. When I went to pick it up the next day he had it waiting and immediately sized it for me. I will definitely come back
