Tree trimming and pruning is the most common tree maintenance procedure. Tree trimming is desirable or necessary to remove dead branches, improve tree structure, enhance vigor and maintain safety. By pruning to promote good structure in young trees, they will likely remain serviceable in the landscape for many years longer than trees that have not been structurally pruned.
Sometimes trees do need to be removed. Whether they are dying or dead, they become unsafe and no longer viable. A common reason for tree removal is a wrong type of tree has been planted in the wrong place or has been poorly managed over the years. Trees can outgrow the area they were planted in and cause damage to underground utilities, landscapes, or buildings.
Washingtonia Fan Palms should be trimmed to remove dead fronds and flower stalks and trimmed up no more than 10 and 2 clock hand positions. Phoenix Date Palms should be trimmed to remove dead fronds and fruit stalks and trimmed up to no more than 3 and 9 clock hand positions.

I could not be more delighted with RO Landscape and Tree Service here in Tucson. In the middle of the stress of COVIDlandia, their team arrived this morning with the right number of people, the right training and experience, and the right tools. My site is pretty challenging, but they got everything just right, and made short work of a job I thought would be a full day of surprise problems. 4 huge palm trees in the wrong place, and a bunch of smaller palms, also in the wrong place. (The palms had already destroyed a wall, and were threatening the house too.) The RO team got everything done in less

The team from R.O. Landscaping was great! They were quick to provide a quote and also answer any questions that I had throughout the entire process. I also appreciated their transparency with the quote and how fair they were. We were getting 4 eucalyptus trees removed from our home. On the day of the removal, the crew was right on time!
