Ralph was terrific. He was easy to contact, extremely accommodating, prompt, and professional. He walked us through the house with him showing us what needed to be done, sharing his thoughts on how to do it correctly. He was very thorough, took his time and left nothing unaddressed. Afterwards when I had a question, he answered his phone immediately and was glad to help. His report was very detailed and easy to understand with plenty of pictures showing exactly where the problem areas were. Two thumbs way up for American Building Inspectors.

Ralph did my home inspection and I am really pleased with the results. He helped me understand the issues he observed, and gave me an idea of what would be needed to fix them so I can make a good decision on what to do about negotiating with the seller. I got a great value out of his services. It’s the second time our family has used him for purchases and each time has been well worth it.

I am overdue in sharing my review, but one year after inspection I would still recommend Ralph 100%. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and flexible with scheduling after our seller failed to complete necessary tasks prior to inspection. Everything Ralph indicated in his report helped us to not only negotiate our purchase cost, but also helped us prepare for what would be next to fix in our house. Ralph inspected our 4 bedroom 2.5 bath house, but is fully capable of reporting on a single room or a larger property. Words can't express how beneficial the service he provided was. I'm so glad I found Ralph and American Building Inspectors. The first house we looked at we just knew was the one, but Ralph found some issues that, in the long run, could cause us some major headaches in the future. Once we found a second home, we didn't hesitate to call him and he didn't disappoint. He told us what we needed to make sure we maintained, things that definitely needed fixed, and other things we just needed to keep an eye on. He was thorough and a pleasure to work with. Ralph was very professional and his experience shined through during our home inspection. Having several years of contracting experience myself, I am very detail oriented and notice the little things. Ralph didn't miss anything and was extremely informative on the issues present, along with how they should be rectified. The report was returned, with a summary of items needing repaired, by day's end. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better person/company to inspect our future home!

My experience with Ralph D'Angelo goes back more than 20 years. Ralph inspected the home my wife and I were about to buy, and did an amazingly thorough job. In fact, he was able to spot a major structural defect which would have cost us $10,000 to remedy (and which we had never noticed), and as a result, we were able to get the sellers to pick up the cost of doing this. I have since recommended him to many clients in my law practice, and all of them have been very satisfied. All building inspectors are not created equal -- this one's the best!
